Answer:	If I remember correctly the depth is roughly 2.3 - 3 inches. It's a standard double gang wall plate. Lowes or Home Depot would have a template to use or just take the wall plate off somewhere on your home, I'm sure you have somewhere and cut the hold about 1/2 shorter than the plate.

Answer:	yes they will fit with 3.5" between drywall.

Answer:	The kit come with a template for cutting the hole. if your wall is a standard 16" or 24" center from stud to stud, the depth will work with the boxes in the kit. The size of the hole is 4 1/2 x 3 3/4. The depth is 2 3/4. Good luck.

The sizes are 5.5 x2.5, 5.5x2.1, 4.0x1.7, 3.5x1.35, 2.35x.75. all in mm, & micro USB, this USB is common on cell phones or small newer devices. Do U know the size U need?
