Answer:	Don't you just love all the conflicting answers to this simple question? So I'm going to assume using good faith that everyone is answering truthfully. Then logically that means there are several variations of the Panasonic DVD Player DVD-S700 where this function does not work on one variation (let's say maybe the black version) and it does on the white version. How else can you explain that I just received the black version and there's no way this resume function works using any of the straightforward or convoluted instruction provided in the manual, in the answers below, or instructions found by googling. Sorry folks, if you want the safe answer, it is no this does not resume where you left off after stopping (not pausing since that would be a "dah") the episode. Just as an aside, I've owned many dvd players over the years, and this is the first one I've encountered where this function doesn't work.
Question:	Why not get a BluRay player that upscales regular DVDs? Wouldn't that be far more versatile
Answer:	I'm getting this over a modern Blu-ray player for a number of reasons. A. This device can be easily unlocked to play any region DVD's, a region free Blu-ray player costs around $200. B. I want a dedicated DVD player that is made strictly for that purpose as I have a huge DVD collection and not many Blu-ray's, for many Blu-ray players, the DVD aspect is somewhat of an afterthought and not the purpose of the machine, you will notice in reading Blu-ray player reviews, people often complain about their players not playing older dvd's getting error messages with DVD's ect., it is a different technology and an "add on " for a Blu-ray player. C. Modern Blu-ray players try to do too much, they have all this technology and bells and whistles, there are a lot more things to go wrong in them, freeze up and fry the machines, ect., they also are constantly getting on the internet and updating software and that can make the machine more prone to go bad too with one bad line of code or a virus. My Sony Blu-ray player jumped on the internet and reported me to Sony because it thought the disk I was watching was a bootleg, my player actually tattled on me while whatching a movie and the machine froze and I got a notice in my email from Sony accusing me of pirating. In any event for me anyway, there are a number of reasons I would choose a good basic player for $50 and not have all the bells, whistles and headaches. Answer:	I consider myself technically challenged, so I crossed my fingers that the set up was easy. To set up I snapped the pedestal stand in. Connected my cable HDMI thing ( flat thing with holes) from cable box to the tv. I remembered to plug the tv cord into the tv and wall. Turned cable box and tv on and it went right to set up. I turned off the voice thing, let the auto channel thing do its stuff, but most importantly remembered to press the input button ( on the remote) clicking on hdmi . It won't work if you have cable and don't do this ( input button). Turned tv and cable box on and poof had a working tv in under 5 minutes.

Answer:	There is no built in local channels. You can get local channels in certain areas with the locast app or an AirTV 2 box. AirTV 2 is natively supported by the TiVo Stream 4K and supports DVR if you plug a USB hard drive into the AirTV 2 box.
Question:	Do you have to be connected to an antenna or something like Dish network to receive channels
Answer:	It hooks up via WiFi, I’ve never had an issue with the connectivity at all. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Answer:	This runs the Android Tv platform which is Android but optimized for TVs, so Yes it'll run YouTube even in 4K and it even came pre-installed for me (Pre-installation might vary from person to person, if it doesn't it'll be found in the google play store within the device). Answer:	Don't know what they're saying on TiVo discussion boards, but I've got the TiVo 4K Stream and I've got Peacock. Just click on Google Play Store and download the Peacock app. As of 8/8/20, not only did this work fine, but Google offered me 3 months of free Peacock Premium.

Question:	Can the charger be used to charge other brands of Ni-MH batteries. A little tired of each brand claiming only their charger will do it properly
Answer:	Yes, a Ni-MH battery is a Ni-MH battery. They say that their charger can only charge their batteries because of legal liability reasons, and so you'll but more of their batteries after you buy the charger ;) Most chargers can detect when it's fully charged because the voltage drops a little when it is, as in 5 mv to 10 mv. The percentage of how much power a battery has is from the voltage. e.g. the peak voltage of most high capacity Ni-MH batteries is between 1.45 to 1.55 volts. I know it says it's nominally 1.2 volts but I think that's when it reaches 0% just like a lead acid batteries in vehicles, they're fully charged at 13.2 volts even though they're called 12 volt batteries. I don't understand the world! I mean a smaller number for gauge means it's thicker?! That doesn't make any sense at all! D: I like turtles.
Question:	Are there any differences between this charger and the NC-MQN06U not in terms of form factor but in terms of functionality and charging
Answer:	The new BQ-CC17 charges each cell independently. The old MQN06 charges in pairs only. Other than that, they have exactly the same charging current (hence charging time).

Answer:	Ditto the 11/30/2014 comment, no need to leave them on once they are charged; I usually remove them once I see they're charged.

Question:	Will this work with an Ematic AT103c converter box
Answer:	I'd like to help you out, but I'm a seasonal resident of two states and this sharpener is at my "summer" house many thousands of miles away. I'm looking at a foot-long ruler and, just going from memory, I suspect the abrasiver portion of my Dexter sharpener is about 10" long, and the handle another 4-4.5" long. Don't know if this helps you at all. If the abrasive portion is too short, it's not really functional. If it's a little long, not a problem unless you have to fit this into a short drawer. I tried one of the whitish-colored ceramic sharpeners and it was too fine a grit ... did not work. Also, it seemed the grit started coming off. My Dexter's abrasive surface - which I use sparingly to keep the edge on 2-3 knives - is not yet coming of. Ideally, if you really like a sharp knife and have good quality knives (high-carbon steel as a major part) you'll need a stone (maybe two, one at 600 grit, one at 3,000 grit) to create the edges that you will then dress occasionally (at a 15 degree angle) with the Dexter or another quality diamond-impregnated sharpener.

Answer:	I have used this knife sharpening tool for quite some time. I keep the knife on a solid flat surface and then use the tool to sharpen the knife edge. Hope this helps.

Answer:	These diamond "sharpeners" don't really sharpen but keep an already sharp knife from getting "burs" and becoming dull. As a professional chef for 30+ years I used this steel daily for years and found it to be an excellent product that kept me from having to sharpen my knives as often.
