Question:	How dark is the black? with only 1500 lumens, it doesn't sound like it will be very dark
Answer:	The HC7800 is my second DLP home theater projector. Blacks are excellent. So are the colors. I believe the black level of a DLP projector is not affected much by bulb brightness. My home theater has controlled lighting and my screen is a wall painted with Sherwin Williams ProClassic interior acrylic latex, Satin finish, extra white. My first projector, an NEC HT1000, only had 1100 lumens yet had an excellent picture. The HC7800 picture seems a bit more vibrant, but some of that may have been due to my NEC bulb was near end of life when I moved up. For my room, I don't think I'd want a brighter projector.

Answer:	This has happened to me a few times, just disconnect the Bluetooth and reconnect it. Make sure the audio on the projector is turned up, speaker volume will be controlled with the projector remote.

HUGE DEFFERENCE MY FRIEND. 2) the setting must be correct for 3D view. Mostly the factory setting & choosing 3D option on say Vudu (&3D purchase video) & I also bought a 3D Sony SVD. Keep in mind. The projector is capable of producing the imganie, the Source must offer the Image(svd orbinline 3D purchase/rental). & human eyes dio not Crete 3D from a flat screen this 3D glasses offer that. If it's a 150" 4:3 screen, you're at a diagonal distance of 163.64" at 18ft with a 1x zoom, so I'd recommend moving the projector up to at least 16.5' to get that diagonal distance of 150". Answer:	Hmm offhand I'm guessing around 3K? Had for 10years, of which used for 5, maybe 10hrs/wk. Has different brightness settings too, so the higher you crank up the bulb the less long it will last, and vice versa. Best to use in super dark room. Great projector. Still worked with original bulb when I sold it.
