It works good if you want the exterior to match the acrylic 14 disc DVD cases by the same brand but need a space to hold wider cases than the DVD slot allow (like a ten disc case for a series). I couple 'hidden' among my DVD cases for that purpose and they do the job.

Answer:	The cabinet is made up of three components, each component is about 18" in height. So to answer your question, yes you can hold 3 shelves of vinyl LPs, but there will be about 5" of space at the top of each shelve. However, the depth of the shelve is only 6" which will leave about 7" of the LPs protruding. I would not advise this cabinet for LPs, it is specially build for CDs, DVD and games. Answer:	Hi Nancy. I have placed both of these units on both hardwood flooring and carpets. Each one stood well. If you are thinking of purchasing this product, I strongly suggest using the method I used. Start filling the unit from bottom to top. If you perform this method, you should have no problems. Full units, neither have tipped or wobbled. This was my concern and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this product has proven to be worthy of my expensive collection! Answer:	Maybe about an inch or so. As you can see from the photo, the CDs fit just right. So a better way to guess would be to place a CD on top of a DVD and see how much space is left over. Also--I believe the same company also makes DVD stacking trays.

Answer:	I have four stacked and if they are against the wall I imagine you could stack more. However I only take them apart one at a time. Another words I have not tried removing top three to get t bottom one.

Answer:	The color is Expresso as advertised. I do not know if it comes in black elsewhere. Depending on your lighting conditions, it could look black. The expresso color is a very dark color. The room that I currently have it in has dim lighting, so it appears to be black. It sits next to a walnut colored entertainment center giving it that appearance. I currently have one of the shelves on my leg, and I'm wearing black sweat pants. You can tell its dark brown.I suppose if you are good with woodwork, you could always paint or stain it black.

Answer:	Manga weigh it down too much, it starts to lean. You'll need a sturdy wood media cabinet for those.

Answer:	Yes, I just put 18 regular size VHS movies per rack, 90 total. Oversize tape cases don't fit well on the lower 4 racks.

Answer:	No they sit at an angle making that impossible to happen, also there is a little lever if you will to keep them close and tight (in case you don't fill all of the space) so that doesn't happen.

Answer:	Not sure what you mean by hanging CD sleeves. I have 6 of these, and my CDs fit in perfectly with their cases...

Answer:	I'm sorry that I can't answer that. The CD jewel cases have been discarded and the CDs themselves have been placed into individual paper sleeves to allow for more storage. In the configuration I'm using, however, with the CDs in their paper sleeves, I can get about 110 loosely placed CDs in each cage -- I say "loosely" because it's easier to rifle through the selections without them being so tightly packed together. Hope this helped if even a bit.

Answer:	I've had no problems on carpet or hardwood. I have 3 of them. I've had one of them for over 5 years.
Question:	For paperback book users, do the metal racks damage the underside of the book over time

Question:	Do you need the wall straps to keep it from falling
Answer:	The unit swivels on its footprint 360 degrees, allowing easy access to all shelves front and back. I have four of them, able to put them near each other to easily swivel based on the widest point of the top / bottom so they don't touch when turning. The units are not very tall, which allows you to hang stuff on the wall behind such as pictures or attach permanent wall shelves. The shelf height is based on DVD / Blu-Ray sleeves. There is even room for sets such as my X-Files boxed. While it therefore will hold CD jewel cases with ease, there will be added wasted space above each shelf, which are not adjustable. I use the extra space for those CDs bundled in boxes that are two CDs high and will lie on their sides, such as a collection from Sinatra. One word of warning. Don't hold on to the bottom swivel if lifting the unit WHEN filled for moving somewhere else. The swivel is designed for a vertical load, not as a holder to lift the unit. So always grab the wood on the bottom shelf if moving and never the swivel. As an FYI if units are ever offered used, earlier models were difficult to assemble while trying to keep the 1/2 length rods in place while screwing down the wood pieces. But later models, such as now available on the Web, have full length rods that are much easier to control in assembly. Finally, these units are hard to find so take time to Google for best price. Walmart used to have them, but Web pages still show out of stock.
Question:	Does this model have dividers
Answer:	Each shelf is 8 1/4 '' H x 11" W x 5 3/4 Depth Total height of the entire unit is 3 feet.I am storing VHS tapes in boxes, electronic games in boxes and cd's in cases. One shelf holds 18 gaming cases and there are 8 shelves so that would be 144 cases. The fact that it spins is ideal and the overall look is attractive and makes the items easily accessible. I even purchases a second unit. Keep in mind when assembling it, use something like Elmer's glue to fill the holes where the wood dowels go. Excess is easily wiped away later.

Answer:	It is 51 inches tall, about 6 inches deep and 6 inches wide

Answer:	I know what you mean. I have purchased 2 and the holes on the knobs are too small to fit. My idea is to have a friend with a drill enlarge the holes. I haven't asked him yet, but it's the only method I can think of that, if done with a small drill bit and slowly, will work. My friend enlarged the holes with a drill. It took only a few minutes to take care of all of the knobs. It worked!

Answer:	I have three of these, and they are not for DVDs or large box sets. They are fine and well-made and sturdy for CDs. They look good, too

Question:	are the balls removable to stack/attach another additional tower
Answer:	I have 10 of these DVD storage boxes and everyone of them hold 26 individual in there original case DVD's I'm telling you the truth about his because it was my biggest concern before I bought the box. I just bought one to make sure of the fit. 26 and still a little wiggle room to get one out of the box (there not crammed together)

Answer:	CD sleeves did not come with this box. I purchased a box of 1000 paper sleeves to use in the box. I also purchased the alphabetical dividers. It seems like I will get aroud 350 CDs or DVDs in each box. The boxes are double wide and I used the single sleeves. Great way to organize.

Answer:	The above video by "Tiger" shows that CD's in their plastic jewel boxes do NOT fit. I am looking for storage boxes that fit the CD's in their jewel cases.

Answer:	The seller actual answered my question regarding can I stack a box full of dvd's with original cases 26 in a box and will the box hold up to the weight of it being on top of it also filled with 26 dvd's with original cases and they said you can put a few dvds on top but it is not good for holding up a lot of weight. I see people on here sayng they have stacked them 2 high and not had a problem with the boxes so why would the seller answering this question directly (your question) posted on here. So I don't know what to think about this...really don't like this grey area when trying to figure out what to or not to get. HATE IT

Question:	Can you mount it horizontally on a wall instead of vertically
Answer:	I wouldn't put many (and just at the bottom. They would have to be the small books as well - DVD size. I love these shelves for my movies. They hold 50-55 (average) DVD / BluRays. I hope this helps.
Question:	Can't see from the pictures, but are the slots numbered so you can find cds easily? without a number system, finding cd would be a chore
Answer:	No. But, the unit doesn't have enough cross bars to hold a standard American paperback book. (I know) Only front and back bars are there. And the front bar is placed too far to hold the front of the book. I used shelf liners. But, great product aside from that.
Question:	I want to have the cd tower stand alone and also attach to the wall for stability. Is this possible? Does not seem to be
Answer:	Yes. Fully loaded, it twists and shifts even strapped. I actually bought metal plumbing pipe straps and secured it to the wall which works great.
