Answer:	I would lean towards real leather due to the way it gets scratched. Pleather (fake leather a type of vynal) when it’s scratched makes makes repeating tears that resemble something similar to a dotted line. When you pull open one of the small tears you can see the foam underneath. With this one it scratches continually like leather would do. That said more than likely it could be a thin layer of leather with cardboard underneath. Either way leather all the way or thin leather with cardboard it’s really nice and protects my iPad pros.
