Question:	What color is the wall plate and insert
Answer:	No it would not make a proper connection to RCA, I don’t think so anyway. There should be wall plates for RCA inputs as well. You might have to terminate the RCA cable in the wall with a female input though if it hasn’t already been done.
Question:	Do you need to buy gang wall plates or can you install these without them
Answer:	Yes. But I would suggest to use self-tapping screws and use plastic inserts into predrilled holes in the drywall. The screws provided are machine screws, as is normal, because they go into the gang box. And really, gang boxes are for line voltage and I don't use gang boxes for mine. I use low-voltage boxes which are open at the back and they do not need to be screwed to studs. I think you should consider them too rather than screwing into drywall because they hardly use depth.

Answer:	I am not sure what you are asking, but let me start by first saying that this plate and its built-in connectors is for Speakers and ha nothing to do with regular wall 110V plates and switches. This plate is used for hooking up official banana plugs (the + and - in one hard plastic plate) for inserting Banana plugs into its connectors directly. This plate will handle two pairs of speaker wire, each pair as a one piece banana plug. I had to replace the plate that was there because the installer did not know what a one piece banana plug is, and the original plate was made for 4 individual single plugs, which was NOT what I wanted. My speaker wires already have the one piece banana plugs at both ends already from my previous installation.So, this is ONLY for wiring speaker cables in thru the wall to the speakers, and attaching two 1 piece banana plugs into it - one banana plug per speaker.Vincent (05-30-2016)

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by gang wall plates? You can install them with 2 screws, but they won't be very solid. But if they will never get stressed, the solidity of the faceplate won't matter. Otherwise use a "caddy bracket".

Answer:	Verify what connection your sub is expecting, but typically powered subs use an RCA connector on coax. This plate would not work for that. For my sub I ran standard rg6 coax with normal coax f-connector to a barrel in a coax wall plate. From there I made a coax jumper with a male RCA on one end and coax f-connector on the other. Thus jumper connects from the wall plate to the sub.
Question:	Will it snug up tight to the wall when using an old construction box (since those have a flange that pulls the face further from the wall
Answer:	Fits single gang...although 1 screw on my mine did not line up with the gang box screw hole. Mine was hidden behind a tv, so I didn't really care. I screwed the top screw right into the drywall above the gang box.

Answer:	the bonus to speaker connections is you don't require a standard electrical box to be in your wall, just cut a hole big enough to fit the speaker wire through and screw this plate directly to the wall, if sheetrock I'd suggest wall mollys because eventually those holes will tear out.

About 7 1/2" X 4 1/4". Keep in mind that you buy a Three-Gang mounting bracket to do this right. The screws that come with this plate screw into the bracket - not the wall. When you cut the sheetrock you cut it to the size of the bracket - not the plate. Answer:	I recommend using this plate and an additional plate With hdmi and coax. Install in a multi gang backbox and cover plate. - don’t forget the coax for ota tv signals

Answer:	There is another workaround for a double gang face plate other than a Dremel tool (to enlarge the standard Decora opening). If you own a sliding radial saw (i.e. chop saw), you can cut off the long edge of the two face plates by about 10-11mm. When you put them together on a double gang box, they will align with the screw holes to make a double gang face plate. I did this and it worked perfectly. Note, you must cut very slowly to avoid breaking the plate. If you have a sliding radial saw, slide the blade over the faceplate scoring it in shallow passes. Clamp a piece of wood over the part of the plate you are not cutting to hold it down while keeping you fingers out of it.

Answer:	To answer everyone's question (which I will paste into someone's Q/A who also asked about it's version), HDMI works in weird ways and I'm going to explain how their workings can answer your question. HDMI cables send large amounts of data and are restricted by how their cables are made. An HDMI cable with a faster MHz (transfer speed) can push more data through it's chord in one instance. This MHz restricts and defines the resolution types it can send. Over the years there have been different versions. Here are there MHz and display capabilities: HMDI-1.3 75MHz, 720p-1080i | 1.4a Variable Hertz, 720p-1080i, Ethernet | 1.4b (also known as High Speed or 1.4 Category 2) 340-350MHz, 720p-1080p (w/ 3D), Ethernet, 4k (w/ Standard 4K 3D) | 2.0 Variable MHz (Normally 500MHz +), All current formats, including Rich 4K & Rich 3D (Mostly matters for screen sizes above 100", Ethernet.These restrictions are complicated, but if you buy the right chord that's all that matters. Reason being is the connectors aren't nearly as much of the issue as the wiring that runs through the cables. Making good wiring with little resistance is hard because it's very thin lightweight metal.However the HDMI Port used in this wall jack is a simple coupler. Couplers use thick hard metals, and have lots of surface area and filling for electrons to move. So as long as you see that it's gold plated (like this one) chances are it's even better than your chord. Now ethernet requires a few adjustments to the porting to make it more efficient so you can also guarantee that Device Control will be supported.To furthermore answer someone else's question, there is no version to any coupler because to this date they do not restrict the signal more than any cable we currently have the technology for, hense forth this is not a worry. Maybe your box is larger for some reason? Please took the front plate off of each outlet module and then attached each outlet module onto the gang box with the included screws/bolts? The outside plate will then screw onto the front of the modules utilizing different holes once the outlets are in place.

Answer:	On the back side there are nuts that can be loosened so you can attach stripped wires. On the front you can also take that approach but it likely will look sloppy. On the front I use monster banana plugs.
