If you have a 5.1 environment in your main zone the best option is to connect the iss4's inputs to the zone 2 terminal on the back of your 750. This will allow you to listen to different sources in each zone at the same time. For instance you could watch a DVD in your main zone and in zone 2 you could be listening to an iPod or the fm tuner. | Answer: | I assume you are running your speaker wires through the wall to a non-conductive old work (remodel) electrical box. The advantage of this type of electrical box is that it can be placed any where it is convenient since it doesn't attach to an 2X4 wall stud like a new work box. You just cut a hole in the wall where you want to install the box and when you tighten the screws, ears pop out and secure the box to the wallboard from behind. You will need mount your new box approximately 3 inches from an existing electrical outlet to give you adequate room to mount the face plates on both boxes (measure to verify) . Personally, I would separate the boxes as much as possible as a safety precaution. A word of caution, be careful when cutting your hole that you do not cut into any electrical wires by mistake. |
