| Answer: | Yes... that's the way they work. Unless the inside connection is going to a plate on the wall.. then you won't need one on the inside. It's just a way to make it look neat. |

| Answer: | The seller claimed a 3/8" hole for the single, but I found that a 3/8" hole is too small. You need 1/2" hole. See the attached product image: https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71EUJ0561QL.jpg Wish I had known this before purchasing. You can cut the bushing with a utility knife to make it fit a 3/8" hole, but this weakens it and it will come apart if you ever need to pull it out. |

| Answer: | 12mm is just right for a snug fit. 1/2" (equal to 12.7mm) is OK but maybe just a tad loose and 7/16 is too small. If using 1/2" add a little caulking to the back to hold it in place and you will be OK. |
