Answer:	Unfortunately like the vast majority of these cheap selectors, they are connected together. For clarification this means that the outer ring of all of the rca connectors are connected together internally to the switch. So as you might expect any noise on any one rca line will be coupled to ALL the other, even if not selected. As a stop gap you can use a ground loop isolator for each connection.

Answer:	If you can't hook the tv to your stereo amplifier or preamp because you don't have an available aux input, then this switch would be helpful in connecting the tv to your stereo system. For example, if you have a radio tuner (or cassette, etc.) connected now, you could unplug that from your stereo amp, and hook the output of this switch to the input on your amp that was formerly being used by the tuner or other device. You would then connect both the tuner and your tv to this switch, and use it to control which device feeds into that aux input on your amp or preamp. This is simply a switch, nothing more.

Shorter cables of a good, thicker quality will be best. The cheaper and longer the cable runs are, the more audio/video quality will degrade. Answer:	I use it to connect the portable dvr for the car to my tv in the spare room. I have to play the video on that player but I get to view it on a larger screen too.
Question:	I have 2 sony rf wireless headphone sets now since getting new smart tv and altice one from optimum i cant hook them up will this work
Answer:	I use it to switch two line level devices outputing to one set of speakers.
Question:	Could you use the output as the input and the inputs as outputs
Answer:	I have only used it at line level. I don't think it would work for you at phono level due to the input resistance, which is too high for phono level signal.
