Answer:	I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with a battery pack protective case. Its about 1/2" thick all the way around. Pretty much every 3.5mm headphone cord doesn't work, the plug in's are just not long enough. I give them to friends with the same problem. 1 friend had to take her case apart every time to instruct her fitness classes using her phone for the class music. Answer:	8mm Wide for the silver part. But notice the gold part above the silver part with Anker, it's 6mm Wide x 2.5mm Depth. If your case is only 2.5mm thick, and will fit 6mm wide, you should be OK. If thicker case than 2.5mm, you would need to have 8mm opening for the cable to work good. Hope this helps!

Question:	How do you know which is the mic/headphone jack? are they labeled or are they interchangeable
Answer:	Mine are not labeled. Both of my plugs are identical, unmarked, black. Likewise, I get sound in my headphones no matter which I plug into the speaker/headphone output jack. No matter which is plugged into the mic in jack, a microphone test program only registers sound on the mic when there is a sound being played on the headphones. I think this means that both plugs are actually connected to the same L and R headphone rings, and neither is connected to the microphone rings on my 4 place plug.
