Answer:	It works great with coarse salt, but I don't know what adding kelp to the mixture would do. I suspect it would be fine, but as I don't use kelp, I don't know for sure.

Answer:	I'm not very familiar with any of the LBOXX components so I can't say for sure what would and wouldn't work. I can tell you the 2 straight extensions measure at just under 20" in length (19½" to be exact). If all the other pieces are laid out to form a single layer it covers about an area 10" x 20" at about 2 " high. Sizing aside its an OK little kit. Alot of stuff seems to get stuck in the curved wand part you hold and im thinking 1⅞ is probably more realistic for anything chunky like wood drops or some nails and screws. But if you're not going to use it on anything big then this would suit just fine. Hope this helps. ~J

Answer:	Don't be cheap. Throw it away when you are finished. Too much debris in the water settles on the bottom and makes it difficult to get rid of.

Answer:	Actually Yes but I think it may clean hidden dust at the groove when rolling with pressure after placed on the turntable. Very dirty LP, I washed out thru water but normal case this roller is perfect.

Answer:	Yes. After the first wash with distilled water, the roller becomes less sticky but still seems to pick up most contaminants. The part that bugs me however is that the roller seems to build up a static charge on my albums after use.

Answer:	You can buy refills for the solution. They come in a variety of sizes. The small rollerss won’t need replacing anytime soon if you’re referring to those but they are available for purchase if needed.

Answer:	If the filler absorbs any water it could ruin your shellac and this is a water mixture. I don't own any shellac 78s but I did use this to clean several records from the 1950s and there were no problems.

Answer:	Do you want to remove the Discwasher pad from its handle and replace it with our replaceable cleaning pad? Before you try this, measure the width of the plow on the DW handle. The GrooveWasher cleaning pad base is 1.40" x 5.0". The DW pad is hot glued to its handle. We use velcro to hold our pad to our handle. Question:	What does this solution contain? Is this for record and stylus cleaning
Answer:	Depends on how often you use it. I bought this 4 years ago and cleaned a batch of records without issue. Now I’m cleaning another batch (both combined are under 200 records). The rubber gaskets in the rollers have shrunk and are wearing out. The rollers have ability to handle 10,000 washings theoretically, but time will be the killer no matter what you do
Question:	is this for the big 33 size records? can it be used on the small 45s
Answer:	Yes I have had this problem too. It seems some records want to pop the roller out, i put thumb on the roller kind of in the spot between roller and the frame. Make sure you are spinning the record straight too. It took some practice but i do like this machine. It also seems to reduce static on previous cleaned records.
Question:	What is in it
Answer:	Initial use was to get my records in shape. I had not listened to records in over 25 years. I would recommend for occasional cleaning. Easy to use but not recommended for daily or every use cleaning. Product comes with lint free towels. i would recommend purchasing some microfiber towels for drying. This is also part of the cleaning process. The microfiber worked best for me.

Question:	Does this come with a cover or container to keep it free from dust while not in use
Answer:	Bruce, the Spin-Clean is not powered, it is completely manual. The records are cleaning by manually turning the records a certain number of rotations one way (3-4 recommended) and then turning it back the other way the same number of rotations. The brushes remove debris and the solution hold the dirt and gunk on the bottom.

Question:	Can you move the rollers to another position for 7 inch singles
Answer:	I really don't know. I have always assumed Isopropyl alcohol and water. Maybe a surfactant as well. All I can tell you is that I have used it off and on for years and have suffered no ill effects.
Question:	Does it have a lid
Answer:	Yes, as long as you use it properly and be sure to do a final wipe with a good microfiber cloth.
Question:	How many records can be cleaned with the solution that comes with the kit
Answer:	RegardIng label sensitivity, I know a DJ who convinced me to try using a clean kitchen sink with few drops of plain Dawn and a gentle brush, and then drip-dry records upright in one of those dish strainers with plate separators. At high altitude they dry in 5-10 minutes. If you clean dozens of records at once a hair dryer held several feet away--so as not to warp any vinyl--will drastically speed things up. My friend proved right that for whatever reason labels after 1974 are very water resistant. I also found that any labels prior to 1974 were more sensitive . I still submerge these older records, but I dry them off quickly with a microfiber rag instead of the leisurely drip-dry. I wouldn't do it with a valuable record (>$10) as a few times I've seen slight bubbling of the label, however the bubbles disappeared in minutes without permanent damage. I have never had ink "run" either.
Question:	How can I get extra soft pads
Answer:	Stuart, they've included positioning for 33's 78's and 45's. I have done a few of the 45's and, aside from the handy positioning of the rollers, those ultra-fine brushes, making a triple-pass on those grooves and flushing debris out, into the solution, are the knock-out punch for arguments against having one of these devices. I'm very happy with my later-than-never decision to buy one.

Answer:	Order the brushes on Amazon, look for the "spin clean" brushes as they also fit the studebaker unit. I couldn't find where to order any studebaker brushes. The spin clean brushes will fit perfectly.

Answer:	No, it doesn't come with a cover or case. I will be storing it in the original packaging/container.
Question:	Is there any alcohol
Answer:	Not sure what’s in the solution but it is used to clean vinyl albums. You should purchase the cleaning pad/brush to properly use the solution. I would not recommending using this solution in your stylus.

Answer:	It can be used for any 7” or 10” or 12” vinyl records.
