Answer:	Most new monitors and mid level GPU's use Displayport. It allows for higher resolutions and higher refresh rates. 1080p 60Hz would still use hdmi but anything over that is usually displayport.

Answer:	Yes this his cable does support 144hz refresh rate (I assume you mean refresh rate) but only if your monitor supports it. You can check with Samsung or the user manual that comes with it. You also need to have a graphics card that is powerful enough to handle 144hz at 2k. It takes You would probably need at least an AMD Radeon RX 590 or something equivalent to that or better for most games. Running games at 144hz is harder on the graphics card than playing games at 60hz or 75hz.

Answer:	It should, as the official one does. However, if it behaves anything like it did the first time on my computer, the tablet won't recognize it at first as a 360 wireless receiver, so you'll have to find the drivers for the official 360 receiver on the tablet. Tell it to use those, and it should work fine - just treat it like a 360 at that point (hit the sync button on it and the controller, just like syncing with a new console). I can't guarantee anything, though, as I can't personally test this myself, and I'm unsure if all versions have the drivers, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

You will also need to check the input ports in your HP monitor. Most likely you only need an hdmi cable.

Answer:	No it does not. I mistakenly purchased these without reading the description, and my monitors could not be recognized at their native resolution (was stuck with 1920x1080 for awhile and everything was stretched). Max resolution is 1920x1200 on this cable. What you need for ultrawide resolutions is a DP1.2 to HDMI1.3 cable. Look for buzzwords like "4k ready".

Per the cable specs “Note: The cable is not a bi-directional cable—it can only convert signal from DisplayPort to HDMI.” I did not realize this and got one to connect an HDMI on the computer to a regular DisplayPort monitor, it completely fails. Question:	Does anybody know if this will display 144hz refresh rates? I am looking to run this from a raspberry pi to my monitor as an "Ambilight" experience
Answer:	The Raspberry Pi has HDMI out, so I am assuming that you are trying to go HDMI from the Pi to DP on the monitor. This cable will not do that. The only way to go from a HDMI device to a DP monitor is with a converter. DP requires power on the monitor side, and HDMI doesn't supply that.

Answer:	it seems like the dell inspiron 11 3000 only has the hdmi output, it doesn't have the displayport output. If so, i think one hdmi to hdmi cable would be suitable to you. This cable is used to convert the displayport to hdmi.

Answer:	I don't have a multimeter to check it, but I use that cable on my system and the monitor shuts down properly for me. I'm not sure if that's the signal on 20 or my monitor knowing to shut off when it doesn't have a video signal. My monitor is a VG248QE to a Sapphire nitro R9 380X video card.

Answer:	No it won't. Running a GTX 1080 on a 3 monitor display Windows 10 wouldn't see my LG Ultrawide's 2560x1080. This cable doesn't have enough bandwidth. I tried 2 different cables. It does work just fine on my 1920x1080 displays and passes through the sound like it should.

Answer:	Hdmi-pc to displayport-monitor does not work unless manufacturers get around to making them capable of detecting and accepting hdmi source on their display port interface. The reason is display port is not a video source. Its more like a network interface sending packet traffic. Now a displayport-pc can detect if it is plugged into Display port or hdmi, dvi, etc and it can fall back to the required source. Until then its like trying to plug your hdmi cable into your network card...
