Turns out Apple caused some confusion (but in a good way as far as functionality) by making the newer Thunderbolt port the exact same physical connection type as the older Mini Display port. But here is the good news, for newer Macs for which this port is advertised as Thunderbolt, the port is "backwards compatible" as a Mini Display port. It is also useable as strictly a Thunderbolt port. So yes, this cable will work for hooking up your Mac Mini 2012 to a HDMI TV via the Thunderbolt port. Thank God Apple did this. Especially since the 2012 Mac Mini uses the Intel 4000 GPU which has a flaw that manifests itself in the Mini's HDMI output. This cable provides a nice workaround until Intel/Apple issue new drivers to fix this problem (which has been publicly acknowledged by Intel/Apple). Enjoy!!!

Answer:	Disregard some of these mistaken answers. I have 4 Roku Streaming Stick+ devices in my home. All of them are setup to access all channels available from my Comcast Xfinity account! I also have a dual 2.4 & 5G wireless router and can connect the sticks to either band! I'm purchasing a 5th one today for my bathroom TV!

Answer:	I believe the remote works over WiFi so line of sight is not needed. I have my stick behind my TV and it works fine. If it's too close to the HDMI connector on the TV, the signal may be corrupted and the remote will work intermittently. If so, Roku will send you an extension to move the stick 3-4 inches away from the HDMI connector which solves the problem. The remote will control your TV volume and on/off by Infrared so you need line of sight from the remote to your TV. The Roku can turn on your TV automatically, so I can just hit the Home button on the Roku remote and both the TV and the Roku will come on. So I use the Roku for everything (TV off/on, volume, channel tuning) and don't normally need to touch the TV controller.

Answer:	I had the same problem using my MacBook Pro and separate Bose speaker. I solved this by turning off the Bose speaker and using lightweight sports headphones wired into my MacBook Pro during video conferences. Not an ideal solution but it's working OK for me. Hope this is helpful.

Answer:	Depending on the program you're using there may be a setting where you can select the device you want to use. Skype has such a setting where you select your cam and microphone.

Question:	I live in an old house, My switches only have 1wire, the hot. No ground and no neutral in my wall switch boxes. Will this work for me
Answer:	You could use this in conjunction with the Insteon 2475F FanLinc Insteon Dual-Band Ceiling Fan and Light Controller, to controll the light functions. Use your remote to control the fan functions. The switch is of course unnecessary however.
Question:	Can you program 2 remotes to work with one switch? I want one wall mounted and one hand held
Answer:	This item needs to work with an Insteon hub, there is a hub that works with HomeKit. But this is a combination I have not tried.
Question:	Does anyone know if this dimmer works on a three way switch
Answer:	The Smarthome page for the 2466DW says nothing about dual-band. Neither the quickstart guide nor the owners manual say anything about dual-band. The owners manual states, in more than one place, that you need to "make sure you have installed at least two Access Points (#2443) or other dual-band INSTEON products". I think it's pretty certain that this product is NOT dual-band.
Question:	I purchased the Lutron P-PKG1W-WH and my new LED bulbs are flickering when being dimmed. They are dimmable bulbs and I have tried 2 different brands
Answer:	Yes. I have the 2466DW installed in my kitchen in a 3-gang switch box in the center between two other standard Lutron toggle switches. I needed the Insteon as it was the only toggle style dimmer switch compatible with controlling the low-voltage(twicebright CL1220TL) mini-recessed lights that use dimmable LED bulbs above my sink. The switch is high quality and easy to program for the desired on level.
