Answer:	I know for my dual model I mostly used the cord for one of the DVD players (in the middle seat) and not necessarily both. I did not always need to use the second DVD player which I attached to the last seats of my minivan. The power would be off the second DVD player. The cord worked in this case. Unfortunately, my DVD player malfunctioned before I could use the cord long term. I will not be buying that particular brand of DVD players again.

I read reviews and was under the impression the 4” rms was capable of handling 50 Watts but they may have been talking about the 5” speakers. I got all my info direct from the owners manual.
