If you fully extend them horizontally, have to add 2 x 38 1/2" plus the distance across to base of 3 1/2" for a distance of 80 1/2".Mhz does not apply, but knowing they rate frequency by the channel pickup of channels 2-13 should give you an idea of the range.

Question:	will this work on my camper
Answer:	It worked great with my YAGI antenna but you probably have a much smaller type for your camper. However, the amplifier doesn't care what kind of antenna you have. If your antenna is inside a camper with a metal shell, give up. Otherwise, one thing you might consider is powering the amplifier directly from your battery instead of your 115VAC inverter.
Question:	Can this be installed by the tv? My antenna is not close to a power source to plug it in
Answer:	The Preamp is outdoor rated and you deliver it power via the coaxial that used to go to the antenna and then insert a new coaxial between it and the antenna. It comes with some rubber boots to weather protect those connections. You can then put the power inserter at the other end of the coaxial. For single TV setups just place it near the TV and plug it into the wall. For me, I placed the power inserter on just before the distribution amp which is less then 10 feet away (mostly vertical) anyway and have both amps running off the same outlet. I lost a whole bunch of station just using the distribution amp but adding this near the antenna brought them all back and even stronger then before. The station 34 miles away is still weak and the one 56 miles away is just a blip but those less then 24 miles away are solid like when I was only running 1 TV.
Question:	If i only plug in the power injector and not the pre-amp with fm trap will it still improve my signal
Answer:	No, I think you're trying to improve your signal without powering this device. I've done that for my neighbor using a Radio Shack 15-1113b distribution amplifier downstream from this. The Radio Shack unit somehow provide power to this unit and the signal is perfect by regulating over-signaling, which is common for this type of preamp. If you can't find the Radio Shack, you can probably find the Leviton 48210-VA that works similar.
Question:	If the power goes out, does the antenna still work with the Preamp
Answer:	I doubt the device requires 120VAC. More likely, the Wall Wart reduces / transforms the 120VAC to a lower direct current voltage. Thus, were it essential to retain the amplification during a power outage, I suspect one could fix up an alternative power source. Absent this approach, cutting the AC power would turn the amplification off and it would n longer boost the signal at all.

My antenna body is mounted at the high point of my roof along the eve of the roof and is exposed to the elements (sun, rain and wind). Try moving the antenna just outside the window- the cable should squeeze between the window opening still allowing the window to close (my neighbor did this). Use the "in line" amp privided AND at least a 10 to 15db adjustable amplifier after the inline amp but BEFORE any splitter. No cascading splitters any time. Answer:	This antenna has a coaxial cable that screws into your tv into the same connection that your cable tv previously connected. It does not have an HDMI hook-up. It does not keep my HDMI port from working with other HDMI items though. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	I am not sure - I live in a big city and though my apartment is on a lower floor, I have not had any trouble getting reception. In fact, the picture is very clear, and I get many channels! It may not depend so much on being near a city as being near a tower that transmits signals. You should check to see which is the nearest tower.
Question:	Will i get a 58 miles away signal
Answer:	To know what stations you can get and what kind of antenna you need to get them, put in your address in antennaweb.org. That site will give you a color coded list of available stations for your address, how far away each tower is, degrees from center. When you click on each station, there will be a popup telling you what kind of antenna you'd need to get that station. 58 miles away is pretty far. It would be my guess you'd need an outside antenna for that distance. But it also depends on terrain between you and the towers, where your tv is in your house, if there's a window nearby, direction your tv room faces, the strength of the signal from each tower, and other factors. It's a system where you have to just try different things to see what works for your conditions. I use indoor antennas. I prefer NONamplified ones plugged into separate ampts, so I can remove the amp if I want. I get a lot of stations; all of my towers are less than 25 miles away. My tv room faces the direction of where the towers are, and there's a window 3 feet from my tv. I'm lucky. Urban settings are more likely to be that way.

Answer:	If there were a coax antenna line connection, then it should amplify the signal. But I never saw a Uniden scanner with a coax antenna connection.

Answer:	Yes, it works perfectly ! Used it for many years, doubles the range. Now flooded it accidentally and buying a new one. It's 12 v internally so you can bypass power adapter.

Answer:	I'm not sure what you mean by clear. This should work on any non amplified antenna setup.
