Answer:	No you definitely do not need to hang it on the window. I placed mine behind my TV. It is more important to have it pointed the correct direction toward the TV antenna that is putting out the signal you are trying to pick up. There are a few good antenna signal websites that show you what way to point your antenna. I used the compass on my phone to see which direction was 270 degrees. That was the direction I needed to point the antenna to pick up the best signals. It works awesome!

Answer:	You want to see how many miles the closest receiver is. You want the one as close to that as possible. You don't want to "overshoot" the signal by a lot or it will be looking for one further away and the reception won't be as good. If it's 15 miles you want a 25 mile. If it's 35 miles you want a 50 mile, etc.

Answer:	Also the lines are soft and flexible so if i remember correctly i needed to reshape the angles to make it fit properly. Assuming they are not 5" short that is.

Answer:	Each and every city has different channels. These areas are called markets. Your channel 22.1 may be different than mine and some people don't even have a Channel 22.1. Every market has different channel lineups.

Answer:	I bought one about 2 years ago, it does not come with an amplifier. To go along with it, I bought a Winegaurd AP-8700 amplifier, it lasted about 18 months and was fried by lightning (along with several other items in the house). Then I bought a cheap RCA amplifier, it lasted 1 day and was fried by a very minor electrical storm (nothing else in the house fried). Then I bought a Winegaurd LNA-200 amplifier and I'm very happy with it so far. (I live in a fringe area, near the top of a hill, 60-80 miles from the TV stations we receive)

Answer:	This antenna only covers the VHF high band Which I believe are the old channels 7 thru 13. Remember the channels displayed now have nothing to do with the channel frequency or REAL CHANNEL. This antenna is not designed to receive real channels 2 thru 6 well. I.E. there are three television bands VHF low 2-6 VHF high 7-13 and UHF . BTW there is no such thing as a digital antenna. An antenna just receives a signal its the TV receiver that interprets the signal to display it. All US TV transmissions are however digital transmissions now no matter what band or frequency they occupy.

A refurbished Wingard FY-55YR It has a 50 mile range and would cost 3 times for a new version of it. All local channels come in consistently strong. Actually pick up around 8 new channels. Overall I get about 35 channels. I live about 45 miles from Portland Oregon, so the 50 mile range appears accurate.Broadcast channels plus Netflix, Hula and Amazon Prime give me more options than I could ever take advantage of. And my Roku makes navigating the streamer so easy. Bottom line I now save about $75 a month from my old Directv.

Answer:	Yes, I did this but I used a powered 4-way splitter. If you use a non-powered splitter, you'll degrade the performance.
Question:	Could you use coax cable that’s all ready in the house
Answer:	Probably, but if you have a bad picture check the splitters, which may be behind the wall plates, and make sure that they are for antenna and not satellite or digital cable. Also, it's best not to have excess lines connected, so disconnect any cable lines that you aren't using. (Think of it like splitting the flow of water from a hose, you want the most pressure possible in every line)
