Answer:	To install.. Shut down the system Run the cable from the modem to the computer inlet. Hook up your coax lead to the Modem,. Hook up the power to the modem and turn it on. Now call your cable company and ask them to seek and turn on the modem. They will ask for the # from the bottom of the modem base. It is best to get that on hand before you start. . When you give them that # they will access your modem and register it. If you have a router it is somewhat different.

Answer:	I have standard internet (15mbps) with Time Warner and this modem works fine. If you are subscribing to a service faster than 30 mbps (this one is rated at 38 mbps down/30 up) I would suggest another one on their approved list. This modem is ipv6-ready so it should work fine for speeds lower than 30.

Answer:	It's working with Comcast for me at this moment, has been for two months now.Comcast does have a new speed standard, called DOCSIS 3.0, and this router is DOCSIS 2.0. Regarding this Comcast says, "...DOCSIS 2.0 modems will still work with our speed tiers (except for Blast! and Extreme 50), but you won't experience the blistering fast speeds now available."However, "blistering fast speed" is more in the mind of the marketing department than in reality. Once you have around 5megs of download speed (Comcast provides more than that) "blistering" becomes unnoticeable. Still, if you have Blast! or Extreme 50, apparently this modem won't do the job.
Question:	So this modem is no longer on time warner cables list of approved modems. I suspect it's because it doesn't get 50 MBs speed, does it still work
Answer:	Actually the Motorola SB5120 is not compatible with Comcast (which is my internet cable service);the SB5101U is, however.I hope that answers your question.

Answer:	There's plastic in it (the screws) so that sets off prop 65. The Plastic itself is safe but in the manufacturing some things are used that aren't. Prop 65 is waay too vast to be useful.

Answer:	In an independent test done last year, the Black Berkey filter elements with the PF-2 attachments filtered out the following:Uranium: 100%Lead: 100%Mercury: 99.8%Cesium: 98.6%Aluminum: 86.6%Copper: 100%Arsenic: 100%Strontium: 100%Cadmium: 100%The test they performed in this case was only for heavy metals, so it of course filters out much more than just these things, as shown in other tests. Answer:	It depends on how much water you filter & how many filters you use (2 or 4). Also, normal city water varies due to local water hardness. We fill up the filter 1 to 2 times per day (usually twice) with 4 & change them every 6 months, but if we didn't have kids, our filters would probably last us about twice as long. However, this is still cheaper than other filtering methods we've used & does a much better job.

Answer:	TV, Cable box, Apple TV and a home theater setup will work. I am not so sure with the PS3- Sony programmed the remote control for that system kinda weird. I tried using an old PS3 remote I had for my Nvidia Shield and it wouldn't work, even though it paired. That's why I bought this.

Answer:	You can create a macro and assign the macro to any button on the remote. I had a harmony, and the way the programming is done is VERY different. You don't have to connect the remote to your computer with a special cable. All programming done in the U1 is done via Bluetooth using your existing native device controllers and an app that you download to your phone. I did have to play around a bit, though, when creating a macro with respect to the order in which the devices are referenced, and the delay between commands. A macro can reference multiple devices. But you'll need to program each of those devices into the remote first (well, actually using an app that you have to download to your phone). Then when you create the macro you can reference button presses on the remote for any of your programmed devices.

As with all such antennas, it will not pick up channels that you normally need cable or satellite service in order to receive. In other words, no, it is not capable of picking up TBS or the Cartoon Network. If you want those without subscribing to cable or satellite, then may I suggest looking into a streaming service, such as Philo, Sling, Direct TV Now, YouTube TV, or Playstation TV.

Answer:	Hello sorry to reply till now. The important thing impacting the reception is the location. Pls kindly check if there is available ove the air signals in your area in southeastern Alabama. This is can be installed outside and inside, so for best reception, you can try to put it on the metal roof.
Question:	Does it work on pre-flat screen televisions
Answer:	Of course it will work if your pre-flat screen televisions has the builtin ATSC tuner and there are available signals in your area. You may kindly visit FCC website to check the signal strength and the distance to your nearby DTV stations to determine whether you need an amplified hdtv antenn or just a non-amplified one like Chaowei DVB66, DTA66 can work perfectly for you. Pls kindly note DVB66 and DTA66 doesn't include the amplifier, if the signals are weak or you are more than 40 miles away most of broadcast towers, suggest you add an amplifier to help receive those local channels.
Question:	What is difference between this dta66 and the dvb66 except this has white stripes and dvb66 has red stripes
Answer:	Hello Thanks for your great question. DTA66 has bigger magnetic base than DVB66, theoretically speaking, the magnet will be stronger and more helpful in reception improvement when you put it on a large iron sheet or something metal; secondly the material of the magnetic base for DTA66 is different from DVB66 which we tried to design one which can reduce the impaction of intereference around your house, so that can improve the reception in an area where the signals are weak. But it seems both of works perfect within 40miles even more according to customers feedback and comments. However, both of are omni-directional antenna which is different from most of square leaf antenna which have to face to the broadcast tower for signals transmitting. We think that is the main reason that customers prefer this kind of antenna.
