Answer:	This antenna is really thin and lightweight, you don't need to screw to the wall, the package came along with a few 3M tapes which you can use to stick the antenna to anywhere you want, mine was just placed on a cabinet. This is super light, almost nothing.

IF you are too close to a Tower, disconnect the 'amplifier' and try again without it. YOU may have to move the Antenna around to 'AIM' it directly at the visible tower I have to do the 'aiming' in order to get the 13 available channels I get.4. I bought the 50 mile amplifier antenna and it did not perform the way I'd hoped it would but I think that the reason for that is that most of our towers are 50 + miles from us. I still get about 8 channels that are clear but they are not channels that we often watch. My sister-in-law bought one of these but she lives in the middle of St. Louis, Missouri and she is VERY happy with hers and I she says that she is within 6 miles or less of several towers.
