How to Get the Best Reception?

Your reception will vary depending on where you're located in relation to the nearest broadcast tower. You can visit otadtv.com/tvtower/index.html, enter your address, you'll get all the TV tower location.

Before you mount your antenna, plug it in and try moving it around the room to see how the reception changes. There's no perfect placement, but you'll want to experiment a bit to find the best spot.

Note: Rescan the channel each time you move the antenna.

One Step Installation

Answer:	To make sure I give the correct answer, an RF connector is the 2 prongs that slide behind small screws on the device such as a stereo correct? If so, no it doesn't come with RF connector. It comes with only a male coaxial which is the bolt screw that screws on to the female cable port on a tv or other device with coaxial input. Also, the coaxial is built on to the cord so swapping it for an RF wouldn't be an option unless you want to take the risk of splicing it which wouldn't be worth the risk unless you absolutely couldn't find an RF antenna.

Answer:	I don't need an external amplifier, my favorite TV station is less than 30 miles from me. if you live in somewhere around trees or any other bostales, you may need an external amplifier to boost the weakened signals.

Answer:	I placed mine on the floor behind the entertainment center so its out of view. You do not have to hang it in the window, but some people feel you get more channels this way. This is lightweight enough you can move it around when necessary， you can use the hook to hang it on the wall/window.

Answer:	Signals maybe coming from different transmitter spots. Move the antenna higher or horizontal. Try near a window frame. Also, try linking 2 antennas together using a splitter, and feeding both signals into one line to TV.

Answer:	Yes, I bought one for my living room which is away from windows, but I can get less than 20 channels, so I try to find a better position for a better reception, the 16.4 ft long coaxial cable is long enough, I can find a place near the windows where I can get extra 11 channels. Don't forget to rescan the channels when you move the antenna.
