We fill up the filter 1 to 2 times per day (usually twice) with 4 & change them every 6 months, but if we didn't have kids, our filters would probably last us about twice as long. However, this is still cheaper than other filtering methods we've used & does a much better job. |

You can buy any coaxial cable, but I've heard that "Low-loss" cable is best for long runs to preserve the signal from the antenna (despite the included amplifier, the best signal you can get to the TV the better). The type I heard works best is labeled RG6. Just search for it on Amazon. I picked up a 20 foot cable, but then discovered the cable that came with. It is a fairly thin coaxial cable that works quite well. |

| Answer: | We just installed this last night and we're near Almaden Valley in San Jose. With our previous antenna we received only 14, 36, 48 and 54 (for 12 total counting all of the sub-channels like 54-1, 54-2, 54-3, etc.). It was supposedly a good quality antenna. The Mohu Leaf Ultimate discovered 75 channels the first try, UHF and VHF. We were dumbfounded! The 75 total counts the sub-channels. We received all of the channels that were predicted on the Mohu website plus some additional channels. Mohu predicted we would receive 68 channels. The Mohu Sky predicted we would receive 74 with the outdoor antenna, so I think we are receiving everything the outdoor antenna would have. |

Longer answer: I have the Mohu 30 and I live on the 9th floor overlooking the river on the UWS and I get great reception -- all of the major stations and most, if not all, sub-channels. For the past couple of months I've been living in a different apartment in the same building while I have some work done on my apartment. The temp apartment is on a lower floor and faces the street and other buildings -- I don't have as much unobstructed sky and the reception is not as good -- I sometimes have trouble getting PBS, for example, but most other stations come still come in great. I just bought the Mohu 50 because it has an improved amplifier and I anticipate that it will cut down on the problems I sometimes have getting PBS in this lower-floor apartment. I think that depending on where you are in Manhattan (and where you are in your building), you will get many, if not all, of the basic channels. |

| Answer: | I only use my Leaf for one tv, but I'm guessing a coax splitter would work. It comes with four round adhesive Velcro strips and four push pins (2 black 2 white.) It has two holes on the upper corners for the pins. I have mine hanging from the ceiling with thin fishing line, about a foot away from a wall and 10 inches from the ceiling. |

I did have to play around a bit, though, when creating a macro with respect to the order in which the devices are referenced, and the delay between commands. A macro can reference multiple devices. But you'll need to program each of those devices into the remote first (well, actually using an app that you have to download to your phone). Then when you create the macro you can reference button presses on the remote for any of your programmed devices. |

I have a splitter with 8 drops from the indoor antenna (NOT this one...mine is an older DB2 model but it is likely it would work the same...providing a signal to many distant rooms) to the rooms in a 3000+ sq ft house. The antenna (in 2nd floor bedroom) is about 20 ft from the splitter input port (basement). From the splitter the lines go as far as 50'or more. The amplified signal provides rooms the over 30 channels (counting sub/side channels) that we get. Our house is on relatively high land with pretty good view of the broadcast towers. Works very well. Love it. Add things like Roku and Amazon Prime plus anything else you want to pay for...we don't have any more. |

Have tried many major brand indoor antennas, Mohu Leaf, Wineguard, AmazonBasics, 1byOne, etc. After fresh channel scan, Eclipse took me from 18 channels (22 depending on weather & season) to very clear 28 channels! |

| Answer: | I have had this 2 years now and love it. I found hooking it up to power BEFORE the splitter coming into the house made all the difference. Hooking the power adapter inside house right before hooking into tv did not well at all. I would get 1 channel. With power adapter outside before my house splitter I pick up 60 channels. |

| Answer: | The antenna connects to the tv using the same type of connection as a cable wire, so a usb is not needed. If you are replacing cable with the antenna, you can actually use the cable wiring in your house to connect all of your tv's to one antenna. Put the antenna in the room at the highest point in the house. Get a 2 way cable splitter. One end goes to the tv in that room. The other end connects to the existing cable wire. Follow the existing cable wire to your basement or wherever the cable comes in to the house. Get a 5 way splitter (for up to 4 tv's). Connect the cable coming from the room with the antenna to the input of the 5 way splitter. Connect all of your other tv cables to the outputs of the 5 way splitter. You will then just need to change each tv to use air instead of cable. Be sure to buy quality splitters with gold ends. |
