Question:	What is the filter size
Answer:	It’s a programmed amount. You always have milk for more lattes unless you use the manual feature.
Question:	where is it made
Answer:	A large latte is 2 shots of espresso (small is 1) so the ratios are correct. At Starbucks if you order a grande, it's 3 shots, and a venti is 4 shots, so you get a lot more volume. Not sure if most people know that though so it seems like a small latte out of this machine but it's a normal 2 shot : milk ratio.
Question:	Is this espresso body stainless steel? Is steam wand made of stainless steel either
Answer:	Yes. We use Silk Almond/Cashew Milk and it works wonderfully!
Question:	must you hold down the coffee button to make coffee. not push and release just have to hold it down. Is this correct
Answer:	Yes. Mine developed a severe problem (knob on front of frother would not turn) and I was sent a complete new machine with an improved knob design. I called and got through without much difficulty. They shipped a new machine the same day they got my tracking number and knew my old machine was on the way to them.

Question:	How many ounces of coffee does this make? I saw 6 or 7 and that seems nuts--teeny. 'cups' means tiny expresso cups? Can someone clarify
Answer:	Mix 2oz with 8oz of hot water for an Americano or with 8oz of hot milk for a cappuccino. For full effect you can whip the milk in a french press. The straight espresso (if brewed with find ground espresso and not regular ground coffee) that this makes is very strong by itself. You could drink a full pot of it but you'd be pretty wired, they're usually served in 1.5oz shots.
Question:	is anybody who is espresso addict/already had a costly espresso machine that can answer if this moka really makes a coffee similar to a real espresso
Answer:	The main difference is the material being used. This is steel, while many are aluminum. There are alleged health problems with aluminum, plus it does leach into the flavor at times. This also has a different shape than the classic aluminum moka pots that have sharp angles. I don't think it makes any difference to the coffee, but it will look a bit different. I personally would still call this a Moka pot, even if it's not the Bialetti brand.

Answer:	Made in China on my box. No markings on pot.
Question:	Is there any indication where this product is manufactured
Answer:	First VERY RARELY EVER use soap! I learned the hard way not to use soap. That caused a little bit aluminum taste but as I used it by the 3rd time all that bad taste was gone. If you run water only thru a few time this might help. There are some easy powder cleansers you can purchase at stores in the coffee pot or pots and pans area. But very important for you to rinse several times with clear cool water. Also maybe put a little coffee grounds in the bottom and soak it over night the rinse well with water ONLY. This may help. Good luck!!

6 simple steps to the perfect espresso

• Fill the pot with water until just under the valve.
• Place the filter in the pot and fill it with coffee powder until it is full.
• Screw the bottom and top of the pot tightly together.
• Place the moka pot on the stove (ceramic, electric, gas or induction) at medium setting.
• As soon as coffee emerges from the tube, the pot can be removed from the stove. The residual heat will push the remaining water upwards.
• Pour the coffee into an espresso cup and add milk and sugar according to taste
