Yes, I got snow in my shoe as I sunk into extremely deep spots but it handled admirably and dried extremely quick. Very impressed that after such a long/wet/snowy hike that they dried and my feet showed no symptoms of being water logged or uncomfy. You can get those snow covers for boots and they fit these shoes just fine. Mine were the low cuts |

Note that this is in no way specific to these shoes, you oversize all hiking shoes & boots. |

| Answer: | Hello, Like most companies, Keen does not offer replacement "components" for their shoes. The lace length is 36-45", which you can usually buy at drug stores or grocery stores. The insoles pull out of the shoes easily, but again, you'd be buying a replacement "over the counter" . We like the Pinnacle style by Power Step. |

Your normal street wear shoes are normally used walking on flat ground, out on the trails you often find yourself walking downhill--your foot slides forward a bit and if your shoes don't have enough space your toes press against the end of the shoe. I've encountered a person that had a toenail fall off because they wore their normal size on a long hike, and more than one with lesser injuries. Note that this is in no way specific to these shoes, you oversize all hiking shoes & boots. |

Gently brush the shoe with a soft bristle brush or hand towel to remove loose dirt and debris. Stains can be treated by lightly rubbing a gum eraser in a circular motion over the location and lightly brushing afterwards. Tough stains can be treated with a mixture of water and a little vinegar on a damp cloth. This process may cause slight discoloration to the area.

I had to return these and purchas a men's 9.5 because apparently keen doesn't make larger than an 11? That made me sad because I now have the ugly men's brown color instead of the lime green I wanted. I did have a store clerk tell me that keen sizes aren't consistent across all shoe styles. I can attest to that, because I have an 11 bern baby bern style keen boot that fits like a glove. |

- So we switched to nontoxic, alternatives that are just as effective, yet safe.
