Answer:	Not sure but my kid is pretty skinny and I had high arches as a kid. Doesnt mean he does but these are great shoes. You cant ask for a sneaker that will outlast a kid at that age. Answer:	I have only ordered the Boys Merrill’s sneakers and they are the best. My son is very hard on shoes and these stand up to the pounding. I would think the girls shoes would be made just as well and last just as long.

Answer:	I would stay they are more water resistant than a normal tennis shoe. My son hasn’t gone through any significant water in them, but hasn’t had problems with his feet getting wet in them on a rainy day.

Answer:	If you are looking for a hiking boot that provides a lot of ventilation then I would recommend the Men's MOAB 2 Ventilator. I decided that waterproof was more important and the MOAB 2 Waterproof promotes MSELECT DRY, which keeps the water out and lets moisture escape. From my personal experience the shoes are very comfortable and are waterproof, but you can expect that your feet will sweat; however it is not any more than when I am wearing canvas tennis shoes in summer. Overall I am really pleased with the MOAB 2 Waterproof.

Answer:	These shoes have a molded sockliner to enhance comfort. I am sorry I am unable to advise if this is good for people with high arches as the manufacturer did not provide us with that information and this item ships directly from our warehouse so I do not have access to see it in front of me

Answer:	I wear mine all the time. Warm enough for cold weather, but not too warm for warm weather. Obviously not something you would want to wear on the hottest day of the year, though.

Answer:	if you wear wide size, do yourself a favor and go up a size. 10.5 wide were painfully tight and I have never had a shoe described as wide fit this poorly. I would hate to see what the regular width might be as the wide was WAY more narrow than anticipated

Answer:	Yes. My husband is a size 10.5, and that's what we ordered. They fit him perfectly.
Question:	I wore mine out on a hike and while rafting they got soaked. how should i dry them? i'm afraid if i put them in the dryer they'll shrink
Answer:	You're going to want to sun dry them for several hours. Lets say it takes 6 after 3 hours put fabric softner sheets in the front like 2 or 3 each. Also it would be good to wash them. Let them sit in a bucket of warm water with some non damaging soap (use a old toothbrush to clean the nooks and crannies). This process takes 1.5 days one day to clean .5 to dry.

Answer:	I also wear an E, but Keen's always work well for me. The are wide in the tie which works. I would try a pair. It's really easy to return shoes to Amazon if they don't fit.
Question:	Can these be used during times especially for snow days
Answer:	I used these to climb Quandary with a fresh dump of 24" of snow in a very wet spring. Yes, I got snow in my shoe as I sunk into extremely deep spots but it handled admirably and dried extremely quick. Very impressed that after such a long/wet/snowy hike that they dried and my feet showed no symptoms of being water logged or uncomfy. You can get those snow covers for boots and they fit these shoes just fine. Mine were the low cuts

Answer:	I would try the size 11. I usually wear size 12.5, but since that's an oddball size I have to wear size 12's and hope they're long enough. I have narrow feet, but wear large woolSocks most of the time and still have plenty of room in the footbed.Keens will stretch and conform to your foot as you wear them, even if they're a little snug at first.

Answer:	I'm looking at my pair and it appears to be part of the sole. Looks black to me. It's a very good comfortable shoe for wearing long hours on your feet.
Question:	Are these shoes good for excercise or just for work? The dress code at my work is formal but I have an injured in my feet and need something comfy
Answer:	They are very light shoes and comfortable. And they can pass for a more dressy shoe. But they don’t quire look right with black dress pants. They look good with khakis. I wear mine to work.

Answer:	Insoles are lightly glued in toward the heal. With a little work you can remove them without damaging the insole or shoe. I wear orthotics and they fit best with the insoles removed.

Answer:	The uppers are smooth oiled mohawk leather. Clean with saddle soap and then apply mink oil.

Question:	Are they really waterproof
Answer:	Yes; they are legitimately waterproof and hold up very well in the rain/snow/puddles/streams. People often claim that Columbia boots/shoes are not waterproof because they say their feet/ankles still get wet while wearing them, but that's often because of snow/water getting in from above the ankle/leg and such. These are definitely waterproof.
Question:	I have a wide front - D width and very narrow heel. Will these work for me
Answer:	I have wide feet and got these in 10 wide and they’ve been perfect. I walk miles a day as a dog walker and they’re the best shoes I’ve found. I’m a C width, though, so they might be tight on a D width foot.

Answer:	No, these are Women’s boots and sized for women.
Question:	Do these boots breathe well? I'd be hiking in TX in the summer in them
Answer:	I live in Idaho, which stays pretty cool, but even my feet were hot, walking in the summer in these. These are better for Spring/Fall. I'm not sure how they would do in a really cold winter because I haven't tried them, but according to the other answer, one poster said you should stay pretty warm. I'm not sure about the summer, though. They may make your feet sweat, which would not be good.
