Answer:	I used them for a 5 mile hike in 3 ft of snow at 30 degrees. My feet stayed warm and comfy the entire time. Also water resistant which is nice!

Answer:	I’d say pretty close in size but a bit snug when I first put them on each time. Once I get going they are great. Just did a 14,000 Mountain in Colorado with them and they were great. Being snug at first probably helps. No blisters and feet were never hot or wet.

Answer:	I would if the child is very young. I got this for my 15 month old granddaughter for Christmas. She is now 21 month old and we still hold on to her when she is on it. My 4 and 5 year old grandchildren do fine on it. THE helmet is a really good idea.

I'm not sure how they would do in a really cold winter because I haven't tried them, but according to the other answer, one poster said you should stay pretty warm. I'm not sure about the summer, though. They may make your feet sweat, which would not be good.

Question:	Is the boot for warm weather
Answer:	Insoles are lightly glued in toward the heal. With a little work you can remove them without damaging the insole or shoe. I wear orthotics and they fit best with the insoles removed.
Question:	How wide are these boots? Are they just alittle or super wide
Answer:	The uppers are smooth oiled mohawk leather. Clean with saddle soap and then apply mink oil.
Question:	are they true to size
Answer:	I have the black with the two gold strips on the side and I would wear them with a suit if I wanted. Lots of people are wearing sneakers with dress clothes now a days. Look at the stars on TV and see for your self. I think if a person is comfortable with wearing whatever they want , then do it. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!! LOL
Question:	I wore mine out on a hike and while rafting they got soaked. how should i dry them? i'm afraid if i put them in the dryer they'll shrink

Question:	What kind of a warranty do these have
Answer:	I have found they run 1/2 a size small for me. Most boots I wear 10 1/2 but Columbia's always 10s. I only buy thier boots online because I never have an issue with size across all thier styles. I'd suggest trying on some in a store to get the correct size....ofcourse buy there unless you plan on ordering from Columbia over n over like me.
Question:	If the size i order doesn't fit am i able to exchange them, or will i need to return them and make a second purchase? thanks

Answer:	I wear a 9.5 W in just about every athletic shoe and I ordered a 9.5 2E and it fits just right!
Question:	I have moderate bunions, should I get size wide width
Answer:	I haven't soaked these Merrells yet. They are comfortable and light. Nice shoe. Not sure about the other Gore tex model.I have had other types of hunting boots with Gore waterproof. I'm not impressed with Gore.
Question:	How is the arch support in this shoes
Answer:	I have a wide foot. Usually get a EEE when available. The 10.5 W Moab works great. Went on a 23 mile AT hike with them and was very comfortable. Good ankle support too. I highly recommend
Question:	Are the shoes lightweight? I need a tough but light pair of shoes for doing the Kumano Kodo in fall
Answer:	Love the comfort so I'm on my 3rd pair. Not 1 has been Waterproof out of the box. Maybe a little water resistant at best.
