Answer:	They ARE narrow. I want a wider size and according to the shoe size chart link, I wanted a 2E, not 4E Ultrawide, BUT Amazon Zappo's only stock the 'normal' Narrow and 4E Ultrawides. @WayneM, there is no 'half size larger' to select, apparently they don't pay attention to what people are buying and they don't bother to restock. I went ahead and ordered the D 'medium' which is actually very NARROW. The shoes came and they just fit me with the laces all the way stretched out. That said, I like them anyway - they're light and the sole is solid. The box only says size 10.5 and No width letter. And they don't show the width letter on the shoe's label either. Good shoe, not great sizing.So, Zappo's / Amazon has some work to do to avoid confusion and returns, just stock the medium wides, please. And start labeling the shoes better.

I'm not sure how they would do in a really cold winter because I haven't tried them, but according to the other answer, one poster said you should stay pretty warm. I'm not sure about the summer, though. They may make your feet sweat, which would not be good.

Answer:	I think these run large. I wear a size 10.5 in my walking shoes, 9.5-10 in most other shoes/boots. I use a size 9 in these. (I have two pair). This size accommodate my orthotics well, as well as medium weight wool socks. If you look at the UK/EU sizes, a size 9 is labeled 7.5 UK and 41 1/3. So, check your other shoes and see how the UK or EU sizes match up. Good luck. I love these boots so much. They have great traction, great ankle support, are waterproof, lightweight, and very comfortable, even after long hikes. I had no breaking in to do on either pair.

Answer:	I've used these boots in a very hot weather at least three weeks in a row in long daily hikes across mountains and dusty roads, it was really comfortable and fresh. I recommend this boots 100%

Answer:	I recently hiked over 9 miles in wet, melting snow. On this,as well as previous hikes, there was some dampness from sweat, but no real wetness. Of course in heavy rain you'll need to keep the water from running down your legs.

Answer:	I wouldn't say waterproof, but very much water resistant. I've easily hiked through stream, creeks, and wet grass with them getting damp, but not soaking. I've only noticed them really getting this damp feeling if water enters through the joint where the laces start. It's easily my favorite choice of boot for all activities outdoors.
