| Answer: | For me, the boots are not hard to get on and once they are on they fall right at/below my calf muscle. The top does not close all the way around. To best describe it, the top middle/center section is like a tongue on a shoe. I guess it's structured this way so the front part of your leg has some give as you walk. My calves are probably average to small. Boots in this style are a little stiffer in the back so it takes just a bit to get used to and if your calves are larger it may bother you. Of all the boots that I've tried, these seem to be the most comfortable because they hit lower on the leg for me. The other boots that i've tried that are the Sorel - Joan of Arc. They push on the back of my calf and feel way too stiff for me. (They were a gift so I haven't worn them.) Overall you may just have to try these to see if they work. The return process for me was exceptionally easy and did not cost me a dime to return. The credit was beyond fast so I was very pleased with returning my original purchase. I bought a 9 - I wear an 8 1/2. Amazon didn't have the 10 so I finally found them at another location and I'm sticking with the 10. These boots do fit snugger than most so be sure to size up. I've never worn a 10 in anything. My foot is fairly average to thin. If it were a little larger than average, these boots would be uncomfortable. Hope all of my info. helps you in your decision process. :) |

Step 2
Place a sheet of paper on the floor against the wall, and place one of the foot heel against the wall.
Step 3
Mark the length of the foot with a pen in front of the longest toe. Then repeat the process with the other foot.
Step 4
Measure the distance from the lower part of the sheet and the drawn line. Compare the result obtained with the sizing chart.
