Question: If I wear a 12w should I buy a
Answer: Yes. I would go up one size. I wear a 9 in the standard Muck. 9.5 all other shoes, and a 10 fits perfect in the Arctic Ice Extreme.
Question: How much do they weigh? I would be ordering at 10 or 11 mens
Answer: My size 11 Arctic Ice Mid Work boots are 32.4 oz each. I highly recommend the Muck brand for wet, muddy conditions. I own a pair of Muck Chore series. I picked up the Arctic Ice boots for frigid weather. Perhaps others have had better experience but I was disappointed with respect to temperature range. Temps were in the mid 20's I was wearing moisture wicking winter socks (not cotton). Within an hour my feet were uncomfortably cold. I picked up a pair of Sorel Caribou boots. (same temp specs as Arctic Ice). Temps were in the single digits. Wearing the same base layer as before, I was working outside for a couple of hours and my feet were nice and toasty warm. More expensive but more comfortable.

User questions & answers

Question: I work watering plants ,all day,in a garden center. Are these comfortable for all day use
Answer: Yes. I have been wearing these shoes for years; however, lately the pairs I have purchased have been shedding the lining fairly quickly. The quality is quite diminished from what it used to be.
Question: Is there a conversion chart showing men's to women's
Answer: I usually wear a 9-1/2 and I wear a 9 in the UGG Coquette Slipper. I think a size 8 would be perfect, and that the size 9 would be too large for you.
Question: Are the muckboot mens excursion pro low shoes comfortable for hot/humid areas like Houston TX
Answer: Most of UGG classic styles are Made In China, some of them are now made in Vietnam. But never mind. They are designed in USA, most of the raw materials are from Australia or New Zealand. Some of the materials from other countries. So absolutely a globalized product.
Question: Has anybody tried these with out socks?A 9 is too big and 8 is tight unless no socks
Answer: Same thing is happening with mine. A few years ago, these slippers lasted so long, for a year or more. They are apparently made differently now and the fur loss occurs within just a few months. At $120.00, this should not happen. I'm done with UGG Coquette slippers!

User questions & answers

Question: Are they hard to get on if one has a high instep
Answer: I have worn two pairs and both wore out in the bottoms after two years. I wore each about 100 times per year. Even shop at garden centers in them. They are incredibly comfortable, extremely waterproof and not even hot in 90+ degree summers, but do not plan on them lasting but a few years max, if you wear them regularly. I will still order another pair knowing I will only get a couple years, as I luv everything else about them but the longevity. Sure wish they lasted longer.
Question: I wear a 10w. the customer care folks recommend i get a size 11. that’s a whole size bigger. will they be too long
Answer: I have had several pairs of muck boot and shoes. I wear a 10 1/2 in regular shoes. A size 10 fit my foot perfect. They seem to run a half size larger than marked.
Question: Are these mens sizes or womens? When you use the drop down for sizes is says womens..but the heading says mens
Answer: You are better off to go smaller. I usually wear a 9. Had the luxury of trying these on in a store first. I ended up getting an 8 so they were nice and snug. Remember no laces
Question: Are these boots hot? Planning on hiking in a warm wet environment
Answer: I have wide feet in size 13. I have found a way to make make the Muck shoes work for me. I have a shoe stretcher, I cranked them so they are stretched VERY wide and then put them in the oven pre-heated to 190 F for about 30 minutes. Then let then cool down completely before removing the stretcher. At first they will be very wide but they will slowly lose much of it, that is why you crank the stretcher crazy wide. to compensate for this. The rubber is very stubborn and does not want to change shape. It has worked great for me.

User questions & answers

Question: Are these mid calf? What size calf will they accommodate
Answer: They are pretty comfortable, I think they would be okay for all day use. However, not sure how they would be for all day everyday. Cushion or wool socks make them even more comfy.
Question: Estas botas son buenas para usar en la industria de carnes? Yo necesito unas botas que no se resbalen y que no mantengan mis pies calientes
Answer: Reference: "Find the right size for you"
Question: Are these warm? Do they have insulation for cold weather
Answer: I live near Richmond, TX and have a pair. I wear socks with them because they are a tight fit and the top rubbed my heel too much. They are not much hotter than my leather boots, and because of the socks my feet do not get sweaty. They are a tad difficult to just slip on & off, but once on are comfortable for gardening and light duty jobs. Being waterproof is a + in my yard (2 acres). I will buy another pair if these wear out.
Question: Are these boots suitable for wide width feet
Answer: I bought these in black for saltwater fishing (and perhaps for the el nino storms coming this fall). I usually wear high tech hiking socks (moisture wicking). I bought a 10 - I usually wear a 9.5, and it is comfortable. I recommend you try thick athletic socks into the larger size shoe, especially if you need a firm fit. I also own the ankle high style and also wear thin, double layer, high tech, hiking socks with these (like that moisture wicking) - since they are slightly taller they may fit you better. If you need a good grip keep an eye on the tread, the tread is soft for a good grip, but wears down when abraded.

He originally bought the 11’s and they were hard to get on an off, but the 12’s are perfect and he only wears one pair of socks while hunting and he said his feet never get cold. Hope this helps!
Question: what is the circumference of the leg opening
Answer: Hi Tracey...I measured them at 17.5 inches circumference at the top. They are neoprene at the top, so they do give a little.
Question: so i work out in the coldest weather in Northeast Montanan and it can get to -60 will muck boots keep me warm
Answer: I've had the muck pros for years used them in Montana and North Dakota. The trick is to wear a thinner socks because your feet will sweat in the boots and then they will get cold. They have to breath and the muck boots are warm very warm and there is not any circulation for your feet to breath, you have to remember these are waterproof and fit snug on your calves, but they are excellent boots for rugged use.

Answer: This boot is mid calf... and it fits me with an 17.5" calf in women's size 11.
Question: i got extremely abnormal large calves, do the calves part stretch
Answer: No la recomiendo son difícil de limpiar y a las pocas semanas las botas se ven bien descuidadas, y más si trabajas donde hay sangre y no son seguras, ya que resbalan mucho.
Question: Are these the older model
Answer: Yes they are warm. Where I live it rarely gets below 20 degrees. We did recently have 7" of snow and my feet stayed warm and all I wore we're ankle socks
Question: Why so expensive? They are 20 more than local store size should not increase prices
Answer: Yes because I wear a wide shoe also. I usually wear an 8.5 wide so the boots that I ordered was a size 9 and they fit fine.

User questions & answers

Question: When do you expect size 11 to be available
Answer: Take a chance! These practical sturdy boots seem to be designed to fit comfortably. My calves at the widest part, (about 6" below the knee), are approximately 13". In cold weather, I wear tights, long thick socks, and tuck my jeans in, and they are still roomy. The uppers do stretch. And if they still aren't roomy enough, you can always return them. (This doesn't pertain to the question you asked, but unlike some other boots I've worn, because of the cushy insole, my feet never feel cold.) Good luck.
Question: Do they make these in women sizes
Answer: They are not insulated. However, I have a farm in Northern New England and wear them year round. During winter months, the temperature is frequently between -15 and 25 degrees. In such weather, I wear heavy or medium knee high wool socks. Typically, I am out for about 2 to 3 hours at a time doing farm work, clearing snow, etc. My feet have never been cold. I am very active, but I do not know if I would get cold if I was inactive, i.e. sitting in a tree stand or on a snow mobile. (Also, they are very durable lasting for years.)

User questions & answers

Question: What color is the interior
Answer: Dark grey to black. I sometimes fold over the top to make them shorter.
Question: I ordered an 8, & I just got them in and wondering if I can wear a 7... how much smaller are the 7? 1/2" or so? Or is is normal to be a little loose
Answer: Hi Ginger,I normally wear a 7 1/2 in most shoes, a 39 in European size and an 8 in my running sneakers and hiking shoes. I swam in the 8 Womens Wetlands and ended up buying a size 7. They fit perfectly with a light or midweight type sock. I had originally bought these for walking in/ near bogs here in Maine but also wore them as a cold weather/ snow boot and they were warm, easy to get on and off and provided leg coverage to the top of my calf. They have been sort of a surprise in their purpose- they are extremely comfortable for walking with an amply padded sole and the treads are stable and grip well. Well worth the investment. (Pamela responding)
Question: I have large calves (16"). Will the tops stretch enough for me
Answer: Yes I think so. I have very large calves and I have no problem with the boots. They also don't feel tight, and they don't slide down. Good luck.
Question: Would these boots be too hot in a tropical forest setting (Belize in summer/rainy season/low 90 degrees
Answer: I've never been to such a place, but my guess is yes. No air is able to circulate through the material, and your feet could get very sweaty. On the other hand, the boots could conceivably keep the humid air out and if you wear the right socks to absorb sweat, they could be okay. You should get further opinions on this.
