Answer:	Water slip resistant? Yes. The sole has a rubber like texture that grips concrete while dry and acts like a tire when I step into a puddle when wet. I have confidence during a rain, however careful as I step in any shoes I wear. Oil resistant? not making it a habit to find oil to test them out. If I worked in a garage for my job, they may do ok, but are too nice for that. These shoes have been one of my best shoes ever owned. Ez for work, dinner and a movie date with my best clothes.
