| Answer: | I would compare the cordovan to an actual cowboy boot. The color is a brown leather true to the picture. The cordovan is somewhat shiny and looks a little dressy and looks nice with jeans and a nice shirt. I wear my pair on the farm and they hold up well to chores as well. I do not have the java to compare, but from what I know about Ariat boots, you won't be disappointed with any of them for wear and tear. They are a little snug when you get them, but I have always ordered the size I wear and just start with thin socks until they stretch in. Don't plan to wear them directly out of the box for hours on end. Once they get broke in, you can wear them for days and days. I am very happy with the cordovan boots for color. |

That 15.5 is the outside of the largest part of the boot. They are very adjustable in the leg with the laces. I just love mine and get many compliments on them all the time. Can't wait for it to get cold enough to wear them again. |

| Answer: | No, they're pretty bang on size wise. I went for a half size bigger than I usually would wear, considering they're pull on. When I first tried them I felt they were too big but as I'm in New Zealand decided to keep them as the cost of sending them back would have made them fairly expensive. I'm now really pleased with the bigger size. They've really moulded to my feet and are still super comfortable if I wear really thick socks in colder weather. Seriously the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned! |
