The shoes are thin enough at the bottom though that you can still feel the texture of the ground you're walking on, so I would still avoid visibly sharp rocks.

Answer:	The upper material is stretchy & flexible, but there is a seam where the soft sides connect with the stiffer soles. The elastic at the top isn't tight on me. It does make a slight mark if I wear them for a long period of time, but it's not uncomfortable. My feet are a true B width, and they do have room to "spread" when I walk in these. The only problem I can think of would be the possibility of rubbing at the edges. Hope that helps. :-)

Answer:	What size did you end up getting? My daughter is a true 7, as well. I’m not sure what size to get as the sizes go from 6-7 to 8-8.5. Thanks!
