Question:	are these running shoes or training
Answer:	These are not my go to running shoes. I wear them for work and could see wearing them for training.
Question:	how wide is the toe box
Answer:	They sort of run small so even with the wide, you may want to go up a half size. I normally wear a 6 1/2 W or 7 reg. I have the 7 wide and my toes are at the tip of the shoes. They do allow more flex in the width, so they feel better then some. I have bunions on both sides of both feel but one that is particularly bad and these work decently for 12 be shifts in a hospital.

Answer:	They have decent, but not great support. If you don't have an foot problems, they'd be fine. However, as I said in my review, the insole pulled out or came unglued, after a 3-4 hours of wear. To confirm the correct size and proper fit, there should be about a pinky finger width between your heel and the back of the clog. Your heel should move up and down freely (like an open clog) when walking. Relax your feet and resist the urge to curl your toes. Stand with equal weight on both feet, the clog's arch should be under your arch and you should not feel the back of the shoe on your heel or your toes touching the front of the clog. Remember!
