That way I rest a hand on the dresser top to gain stability as I step over the hurdles. That limits me to just4 hurdles, but I go in and use them multiple times a day or whenever I'm in my bedroom. Answer:	My daughter is a 5. The 4.5 fits perfectly well. The slipper "adjusts" to her foot (after wearing them once or twice). I would not go smaller than half a size. The actual shoe size might fit a little bit big. My advise: if in doubt, just take her to a ballet store and have her try it on.

Answer:	I haven't washed mine in the machine, I don't remember ever seeing a tag or instructions on how to wash them, but personally I just hand was them gently with detergent in my kitchen sink. They still look nice despite a few scuffs and I've been dancing in them for about a year, and you can hang them from a pants hanger to dry. I don't see how washing them on the gentle cycle could ruin them, I personally just prefer doing such things by hand to make sure they aren't damaged. I would do delicate-cold water- gentle detergent- no softener.

Answer:	Ballet size. I'm a 6.5 - 7 in US street shoe or 37 Euro. I ordered a 4.5 in this slipper in the regular width (my feet are slightly narrow).
