Question: what do the gages mean? i just want one for my cartridge piercing. not sure which to get
Answer: Gauge is the thickness of the metal part of the earring. A lower gauge means a thicker earring. Ear lobe piercings tend to be 18-20 gauge and cartilage piercings are usually 16 gauge. I went with a 16 gauge for my conch and it was perfect so I recommend 16 gauge for your cartilage piercing
