Question:	Would these work for a beginner with ears that have not been stretched at all
Answer:	No not at all, coming from someone who stretched to a 5/8, do NOT skip all the way to a 0 with 20g pierced ears. You will have a blowout and it will rip your ears and they will never go normal again. I skipped two sizes during my process and it was horrible pain and they haven't closed back to my original pierced size and they won't without sewing them.

Answer:	Listen i have only used silicon to stretch my ears witn no issues. Its the only way to be sure you wont have blow outs or rips. Tapers are painful and cause damage. When you use silicon to stretch just always remeber to put a little lube on the inside of the silcon plug and ever so often spin them while they are in you ear. People always take down useing them for stretching but honestly its the Easiest. Just fold the plug in half put it in you ear and let go. Bam your done and your not shoving a long tapers ripping your ear Good Luck...
