Answer:	after i stretched, i would typically leave the taper in for a few minutes before putting the tunnel in. although if the stretch was too painful or my ear swelled, i would leave the taper in for about a day before putting the tunnels in. i’m at 2g rn and i haven’t had any blowouts or infections! good luck. youtube also has a lot of great resources for tips on stretching
