Answer:	It depends how big you planner is and the the collapsible dog dishes are. But what I can tell you is that I purchased this for the purpose of having it on the plane with me when I travel, and I am able to put my tablet that's in a protective leather case, a small book, a word puzzle book, a small journal, my passport, my wallet, a small make up purse, and other little stuff. Answer:	Hi! This backpack is actually perfectly sized. I would say it’s medium in size, about the capacity of a grocery bag. It has a lot of compartments and 1 secret compartment on the back that you could put your wallet, hand gun, or anything you wouldn’t want anyone to have “easy access” to. I was worried that it was going to be too small or too big, but I can say I’m happy it’s a perfect medium sized bag. I’ve gotten compliments on it and I highly suggest you buying one. I use he side pockets for bottle water in one side and my cell on the other. It can fit 13” in height of a daily planner, MacBook and clothes!! It’s made well and I think you will like it.
