Answer:	The leather belt loop is great however; the shoulder strap is a cloth strap. I am currently looking for a leather strap as i love the bag and small size. The whole bag seems very durable.

Answer:	Strong belt loop, yes..the stitching on the whole bag is good, including around the belt loop. I take off the shoulder strap once in awhile and use it for a belt with the bag. Answer:	For me, that has not happened. I keep the zippered compartment in a closed position, so that the metal "tag" is positioned on the right hand side (when looking down into the compartment). I have an Apple 6S phone, which is encased inside an Otterbox, Defender series. Perhaps most importantly, that comes with a builtin screen protector. There are no scratches on the screen protector which would be related to the zipper itself or the metal tag which opens/closes the smaller compartment, inside the main compartment. I would be willing to buy this bag again for my 6S cell phone.

Answer:	Don't know about Galaxy; i have iPhone 6S plus that measures 3.25” x 6.25” (in case), It fits in one pocket with plenty of room and keys and tissues in other pocket with plenty of room. Zipper pocket in back holds money and ID. It is canvas so NOT waterproof. But i can put my phone in a ziplock sandwich bag to keep it dry.
