I think one of the reasons it is less expensive is that the strap isn't leather (again I wanted that to keep it lighter) and all the pockets are fabric lined. I have had it for a few months now and am extremely happy with the quality.

Answer:	No I don't believe it will. I have a kindle fire which is smaller then a chrome and while it will fit in the width for the my Kindle, it is the same height. My daughters Chrome which was an older model would never fit in it.
