Question:	how heavy it is. is hard metal or does it bend easy
Answer:	I have used these jars one time so far to pressure can ground beef. I canned 10 jars of browned ground beef and no jars bloke. However, the lids appear to be of low quality. The lids do not easily fit into, and slip out of the bands. That is the lids appear to be slightly too large in diameter compared to the bands. Also the bands show signs of discoloring after only one use. Of the 10 jars used to can the meat two jars did not seal. I have never had a seal failure before but I am not an avid canner and cannot swear that this was not my fault.

Answer:	I'm sure they are. There is no coating so far as I know: the pans are simply highly-polished stainless. You do have to use a little oil to avoid sticking, and you have to use a little effort to clean the pan after frying. You do not, however, have to pamper the pans or use special temperatures or utensils to protect the nonstick finish, just toss them in the dishwasher. Occasionally you will need to use a stainless pad to clean the inside of a pan, but they are basically trouble-free. I've owned several sets of nonstick cookware and have finally gone back to stainless as the most reliable--and durable--and it's probably better for my health.
