Answer:	it has held up fine had it for a few years, wash in woolite and machine dry ! I would buy it again but it looks as good as new!

Answer:	Purple is very true to the picture, incredibly soft, but size runs a little smaller than expected.

Answer:	The robe is very soft, but the weight may be a problem for you. It has more weight than my wife's previous robe which was also polyester. It is made with a heavier valour.
