Answer:	I would get the medium. I found this robe to fit on the "small" side especially around the waist. At 5'8" a small might also be too short. If you have a large waist, prominent "bum" or long legs with a short waist I would get the medium. You sound like you are tall and SLIM and a small might fit you well.

Answer:	I agree with the other answer that you are probably needing XS. There is a size chart option when you pull up a garment that you like to compare it with your size and the regular size you wear to help you buy the right size. I usually buy my items using this size chart as it really depends what you are buying, especially on line, to ad which size you need.

Answer:	I would guess a medium or large...probably large. They have a LOT of flexibility in size...generous wrap-around and length. My husband got a medium, but it's got plenty of room to fit someone taller/larger. He is 5'8", and was about 170-175 lbs when we purchased it. You are a fair amount heavier and a tad bit taller, so maybe a large. Again, they are very close to being a 'one-size'fits-all' type product.

Answer:	No -in fact when I get out of the shower I put on my robe rather than towel dry. I love it.

Answer:	We washed ours before wearing but we do that with all our clothes, you never know what chemicals have been used in the manufacturing process. We didn't notice an inordinate amount of fluff/lint when we washed ours, but they are very heavy when wet, so you'll need a heavy duty washer and dryer if you're doing more than one at a time.
