Answer:	I am 5'9" and bought the lg/xl and I love it! It covers me, all of me! I weigh 185. The sleeves are too long, but I just roll them up. If your wife is slender, you may want to consider a med because this really IS too big for me and it does come down to my ankles! I have ordered two of these after realizing how well they are made and how comfortable they are! I may order the next size down and see how that fits me.
