Answer:	I'm 5' 5" It is Not to the floor, but hit about lower calf - I needed mine for a hospital (surgery) event and i wore it home. I did not need anything way too long to get tangled in covers, i wore ankle slippers with it as it was cold in January an kept me plenty warm for the journey home and into my bed.

Answer:	It is 42 inches from the armpit to the hem, the zipper is 37 inches long and gradually comes up a bit in the front toward the zipper to prevent tripping. This is a size large I am under 5’4” and I should have bought a medium but kept the large. I love the sleeves, it is warm, and has a collar that I really like. I do just love it.

Answer:	I don’t understand where you are from but if you live in a southern climate it might be too warm. I live in Jacksonville Fl where we do have a brief winter period.
