Question:	what is the actual length (in inches) of this jean
Answer:	I wear an 8 1/2 normally. I did go with a 9 simply because I have to add in an orthotics full footbed. They are insanely comfortable and would offer this advice, if you plan to wear socks other than a thin one go up the 1/2 size. They are stiff and will be very protective and supportive
Question:	is the slimming actually detectable? And is it true I should get an 8P rather than my regular 10P
Answer:	I don’t have the exact dimensions but I have pretty thick calves and they fit really well With some room. These are my favorite boots they are gorgeous no regrets.

Question:	Seller - In the description for this jean, why are the inseam and leg opening measurements different based on color
Answer:	I am also 5'9". I find the Alina jeans to be long enough. I will tell you, I find the NYDJ's to run slightly different each pair ( I believe this to be the case with all jeans). I have 4 pairs and all long enough but 1. The inseam of the one I wore today is 29 1/2.
Question:	Are these roomy in the thighs? I need the size for my waist and hips and always end up with baggy 'saddlebags
Answer:	I have only worn NYDJ's in plus size. Alina style is tighter allover like a legging.

Answer:	I don't know the length, all I know is I had to return a whole bunch of them because they are supposed to be ankle jeans and they went all the way down to the floor on me. I'm 5'4" tall. They were also very baggy, not skinny jeans on me at all. but I do have very thin legs and only weigh about 105 pounds.

Answer:	Yes I think the slimming is detectable. I own at least six pairs and look great. However I disagree with the advice to buy a size less than usual. I wear 6P in all brands of jeans and slacks and NYDJ are no exception. I started out trying them on at department stores to get the right size, then found them much cheaper on Amazon and Nordstromrack.com

Answer:	I don't know what difference the color makes but I can tell you they fit just as good as all the other NYDJ pants that I own (which is at least 10 pair). I ordered the matching sweater top and it makes a nice looking outfit. So, the inseam and leg opening worked fine for me.

Answer:	Wash in cold water and dry for only 5-10 minutes, to get rid of the wrinkles. Then hang to dry. Smooth them with your hands if necessary. By the way: if you are going to alter them, wash and dry them before altering.

Answer:	The thickness is in the middle. Not too thick but not thin. I like them a lot. Also, they run large so when it says order a size down you may be able to go down two.
