Answer:	I would say it is between a hollow grind and a saber grind. It's not full flat and its not scandi. The knife is a great tool for general bushcrafting chores. Mine came with a good edge and it's a beast for batoning wood. The point is strong. Besides really abusing the knife performing tasks it was never designed for, I truly don't think you could ever hurt the thing. The grips are awesome. It's an affordable, good knife.
Question:	Can the dress be shorten for my height
Answer:	Do NOT use a knife to baton wood. IF and only IF you need to split wood use a wooden wedge that you can make out in the field or woods!! You can carve a wedge with the knife or a saw, then use a saw to make a small cut in the top of the small log. Use tree branches ( that you can find everywhere in the woods ) to build your fire. Knives were NOT made to baton with, that's why you make a wedge out of wood. I hope you understand this. Beating your knife instead of a wooden wedge isn't a good idea. The knife baton thing can and will break your knife! The SCHFLM is a pretty good camp knife, comes with a Kydex sheath and ferro rod.

Answer:	I'm a decent size guy at 6', 2" and 235 lbs and I believe it to be a little large for that. Maybe the shorter version would be better if carried horizontally. Hope this helps..

Answer:	You can take off and change the scales easily. They are held together by two bolts with Allen heads

Answer:	If you don't strip the coating, it will be fine. But if you do strip the coating, you will need to oil the blade. With that being said, it is an excellent knife. Two thumbs up!!

Answer:	It looks flat to me. I don't have a lead out gauge to verify it by numbers tho. The butt of the grind right in front of the finger choil is curved, but the area where material was removed for the grind is flat, ie, a straight line.

Answer:	The designer of the knife stated that there is no old stock left anywhere, if you buy one new then it's the new design with hollow grind.

Answer:	Not anymore sadly, Schrade has changed the Jessica-X, in now has a hollow grind instead of a saber grind that Chris designed it for and this makes it weaker. Chris and Schrade have now parted company. The new version from June 2017 isn't the knife that Chris recommended in his videos.

Answer:	The SCHF43 (Good version=Durable=Hard to break, Robust) made PRIOR to 2017-07 was produced by a supplier making it to SPEC of the Designer Chris Tanner of PreparedMind101 (Saber grind).According to a e-mail stated to be from CEO/President of BTI TOOLS INC... who was acquired about 9months ago by S&W (Smith & Wesson).. whose S&W branded knifes are considered sub-par... "low tier stuff" the REASON for SCHF43's now having a hollow grind, and being prone to BREAKING and the blade SHATTERING /Breaking into pieces is that the factory producing the SCHF43 it appears was not willing to continue producing them at the PRICE BTI TOOLS INC wanted to pay is my impression...So production contract was handed off to another factory. By the sound of it this factory coming in at a lower price /price BTI, or should I say el-cheap-o S&W.. who is known for being bottom of the barrel type stuff was wanting to pay.It is unknown if grind change was a screw-up by the post 2017-05 (estimated) change-over to el-cheap-o factory.Saber Grind is more expensive to produce.(More labor/steps)Hollow grind process being cheaper to make (Automated)If I had to guess one of three things happened:1: El-cheap-o factory to get price BTI wanted did a in-house design change to hollow-grind.2: BTI /S&W demanded the change... (Schrade likes hollow-grinds... remember =cheaper to produce.)3: El-cheap-o post 2017-05 factory didn't read, or ignored the spec /blueprints.If it is a case the el-cheap-o factory made the change (and even not) it is QUITE apparent that BTI TOOLS does NOT do any quality control testing.(PreparedMind101 broke like 15 +/- SCHF43's in a row, made BTI aware of grind/breaking problem.)During normal production so many per 1,000 should be pulled and tested... inspected visually plus the steel tested to see if spec'd steel is being used, and test to see if it's been heat-treated to spec. Then so many should be tested to destruction.On a "new" factory you double down on spec testing in the beginning... It is apparent that once factory throws it in a box that good enough for BTI TOOLS.. No further testing is needed.BTI TOOLS mindset it appears to use CUSTOMERS to do their QC... which frankly sucks as BTI TOOLS unless you have a Youtube channel will NOT forward a Pre-Paid RMA shipping label for defective product. (Them paying return shipping costs.)They, the great BTI TOOLS touting themselves a making of "HIGH-QUALITY" items (Which implies strict QC and LOW reject rate per 1,000 units) demands the CUSTOMER pay for their mistakes... which is wrong.(If you have good QC, low reject rate company should absorb RMA costs.. and gasp!.. bill these costs back to factory contract was with... Do that and people double check things as they have to eat the bill on defective product.)Warranty rant over. (I was amazed when I RMA'd some defective knives BTI would not sent RMA label..I have no problems obtaining a RMA label for stuff bought thru / made for BudK/ChKadels.)***********************The MAIN issue for me is that in one of PreparedMind101 videos showing post 2017-05 /2017-07 SCHF43 JESSICA-X's which USED to be HARD TO BREAK... are NOW it appears being EASILY BROKEN.It appearing this El-cheap-o factory didn't heat treat the blades properly /used the wrong steel.(Pic I saw looked like the grain structure of the steel was too large.. looks like "pot-metal".)So what's the BIG DEAL with BLADES and are easily broken post 2017-05 -2017-07 ?I can see shards of steel going thru someone's EYE when the blade breaks, someone being maimed, disfigured, losing their EYESIGHT.SO WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?A: BTI /SCHRADE should RECALL, RECALL, RECALL..... Better, but still sloppy, sloppy machine work, coating on blade chipped in several places right out of box, and with fifteen minutes of just sitting on couch inserting one knife into sheath coating chipped.Note Schrade Warranty does NOT cover coatings..Ended up going thru another vendor going thru several more to get one while not *perfect, as least not having a chipped coating/ debris in / huge voids in the coating in area of the o-ring sealing surface...**************************Not perfect, Not even close, Coating and machine work in sealing area sloppy... and ALL had debris /valleys and peaks /rough edge in the sealing area! LOL! Not happy with losing coating in this area as knife is made of steel which will RUST.(Problem with a chipped surface in that area potential for o-ring not to seal properly.. thereby any survival items in handle getting wet.. RUST occurring inside handle.)

Answer:	It is a good fit. However, the sheath itself, overall is cheap. Within a couple of weeks, the stitching was coming undone. Would definitely go with a kydex sheath.

Answer:	NO. the mcarta handle is pretty much hard. The rubbery handle on this SCHF26 is much more comfortable to the hand, for both battoning and far grippier in wet/ sweatier hands. I own both, I much more prefer the 26. Hope this helps. Billy

Answer:	The SCHF26 is a fixed blade knife with a 5.5inch blade. The total length of the knife is 10.5 inches.

Answer:	Looking on a google search it appears Schrade has a limits lifetime warranty that covers materials or manufacturers defects. They will not cover damage from misuse or abuse.
Question:	is the micarta handle on the schf10 better than this? do you think its worth the extra 9 bucks
Answer:	I have the 37, and the handles are nice. Not hard to hang on to, bare handed or with decent gloves. I was impressed with it, especially for the price. The sheath is not great, and I personally would have preferred kydex, but it stays in my pack mostly anyway, so not a deal breaker. It is a nice heavy blade, and a good chopper.
Question:	Does this knife have a 90 degree angle spine
Answer:	I am not currently aware of a leather sheath that will fit the schf37. However, I have had no problems with the supplied sheath thus far. This combo is holding up very well.

Answer:	I measure the loop at 1 15/16". If your belt has some give you might make it fit, but if your belt is stiff you're out of luck.

Answer:	If you look at the description it tells you origin china, I have the knife and like it a lot, but I do prefer the other schrade that are made from 1095 high carbon steel as in the schf9cp, schf51, schf52. As you can see I like schrade brand, you get a good quality knife for a reasonable price, plus some come with a Dimond sharpening stone and a ferrocerium rod. Good luck on your choice.

Answer:	I bought the dress for my granddaughter who is 5' tall. She is normally a size 3 but ordered a size 2 to ensure it fit a little tighter being it was sort of a straples) . (The mesh portion is very thin and see through). It fit her snug, looked beautiful on her, however even though she wore high heels, it was extremely long on her. She had to have it altered quite a bit (which I think took away from the lovely look of flare bottom. It lost some of the mermaid look effect by getting it altered.) and still had to keep holding up the dress so she wouldn't trip. Hope this helps.

I'm 5' and 120lbs. The dress although stunning, is really long, specially the train. I wore it to a wedding and didn't wan't the train to be so long but still wanted to keep the style of the dress. I took it to a taylor and the end result was stunning. It hugged my curves so beautifully. My boyfriend couldn't stop complimenting me and couldn't keep his eyes off me all night! Buy it!!!

Answer:	Hmmm, that’s a tough one. I bought M and I’m a solid size 8-10 women’s, 34D which is equivalent to (36C). My arms and legs are tiny. Stomach not so much. It was skin tight. I wore spanks lol and it was still skin tight. If your budget allows buy both XL and XXL and send one back it’s free returns. If not, maybe go with the XXL.
