Answer:	I normally wear an XL. Amazon recommended a L. I actually had to size up to an XXL because the XL was snug in the hips. The top was huge in the XL and the XXL. This coat looks best open.

It fit well, but the 6 might have been better—a bit too roomy in the shoulders. This structured coat looks better fitted. So base it on how you like your coats to fit, and your upper body—if you’ve got “normal” size shoulders and upper arms, I would go with the 6. It’s a beautiful coat.
