If you keep your jacket open and it's raining, you will probably get slightly wet. But if you zip it up, use the velcro, and pull in the strings for the hood, you will stay dry!

Answer:	It is the BEST windbreaker, rain jacket I've ever owned. It is so well made, using water-repellent material. The hood is permanently attached so that water can never seep down your neck. Every part of this jacket is well-designed, such as the velcro fitted cuffs (no alterations needed). Above all, the color choices are beautiful; the jacket is super comfortable and the price for such quality is reasonable. I bought four--couldn't resist the colors and the flattering fit. ( BTW, I was glad to have this jacket during the rainy weather that followed the recent hurricane. I wore it to fill the birdfeeders out back. All I had to do when I got back to the porch, was to shake my jacket a few times, and most of the water on my jacket was gone. I stayed completely dry!)

Based on what I see with 3xl 40-42 would be max when over clothes. Length is maybe 32-33 and has a snap on cuff to keep up from falling under your heel. I will not unfold coat since pants will not work helping me repack them.

Answer:	Greetings my friend, At 5'9" & 195lb I selected the XXL and it fits me very nicely, with room enough for a base layer. I really like my jacket I chose the Red/Black version. I live in Arizona our Winters are very mild. There are morning rides with the wind chill factor to be near 42-48 degrees. I would rate this garment perfect for that temperature range while wearing a conventional jersey underneath. With a cold weather rated base layer perhaps I could ride in colder temps but that's not likely here in the lower desert region. I hope this was of some help to you.

Question:	Does this jacket have a lining
Answer:	I think it would be ok.
Question:	Does the hood come out
Answer:	yes i clean my tray with bleach on occasion.. and i love the silverware holder..
Question:	Is the dark gray closer to gray like a charcoal (think elephant) color or is it closer to black? I don't want to order gray and it look black

Answer:	I would not know if the tray drained properly or not. The wire drainer was a joke. It was NOT vinyl coated wire. It was spray painted wire!!!! AND the wires were not trimmed flush which caused a cut on my hand. Needless to say, I returned it immediately.
