Answer:	That would be a question for the manufacturer. From what I've read, the UPF factor typically decreases when wet. A UPF rating means you're protected from 50% of rays but probably decrease that by about half when wet. But, I'm not an expert!

Answer:	I am a larger sized woman. When I tried this,I ordered one size larger than it said but it was still too tight. I had to return it. They make it look like a tee shirt skimming the body which was what I wanted. However the picture is deceptive. It is more like a leotard. It fits tight. If you have a small build you could try ordering a size larger than your usual but no guarantees. I am still looking for a body skimming protection shirt.
