Nothing slides out when you dont want it to and when you do it glides. Everything was bliss until about a year and a half ago, our puppy at the time got ahold of it and decided to chew the plastic ID holder portion and the corner. But I feel it is made for abuse, so it yet lived on, she did not completely destory it! Well fast forward to today and the plastic has now bent over and stabs me in the butt everytime I sit down.
