Answer:	9+2 is the the depth. It's 9" and expands out 2" more if needed. The 21" will include the wheels. I bought this piece as a gift for someone last year. They don't travel much but have used it a few times with no complaints. Bags like this typically do better if you carry them on and can control how they are treated. I don't know that I would trust them being checked if you travel frequently but it should last a good while if you primarily use it as a carry on piece.

Answer:	Yes, We took this to Ireland, London, and Germany both checked and carry on. I think the german flight was the only one that it was to large to carry on, or it might have been the weight, either way we did a gate side check.

Answer:	I recently flew on Delta - on huge international planes as well as small domestic planes. On the small planes they have small overhead bins and they "gate checked" any bags like this. Otherwise yes, it just meets the size dimensions for the overhead bins. However, when I went to try it in one of the size bins at the airport it was a tight fit. In fact I had the front pocket packed with a pair of shoes so it bulged enough that it would not fit in the bin. Just to be on the safe side I removed the shoes and placed them in my larger bag that would be checked. A word of caution, because of the wheel base the bag is heavy when packed and I could not lift it up and down from the overhead bin by myself (I was traveling without my husband for this particular trip) and I had to ask for assistance from a flight attendant or a fellow passenger.

Answer:	I bought mine, and didn't open it until 2 weeks later. After seeing how gigantic it is, I decided I didn't want a purse to go into a purse. I'm an essential worker, and couldn't find time to get to a drop off location(Kohls was oh so convenient!). So after another week or so, I read about a nearby locker that they'd pick it up from, only to learn that they were full. Finally, I got to the UPS store only for them to tell me the company's return window had closed after a month. I never used the thing! What if a zipper had broken in the 5th week?! What if they made it with a 30 day fail proof, and the seems come loose on day 31 simply because the return window closed? I don't even want to give it to anyone! It is not advertised as being so large. They may as well had put a strap on it, it's so large! It's literally a hand purse for your shoulder purse, that doesn't fit bills in completely.
